On The Application Of Color In Moyan's Novels

In Mo Yan's vast and profound literary world,there are many indescribable and incisive details that are completed through the control of color.Color not only enriches the sense world in Mo Yan's novels,but also brings readers a strong impression of color.Color to Mo Yan is not only to add poetry to the works,but also to enrich the text ideas,condense the main consciousness of the writers,so the study of Mo Yan's color is also an important starting point to interpret Mo Yan's novels.But at present,the research on Mo Yan's novels mainly focuses on narratology,magic color,folk angle,character image and language.Although there are many scholars trying to interpret Mo Yan's novels from the perspective of color,most of them are not in-depth and specific,and have not formed a specific system.Therefore,this paper will use the way of close reading to analyze and explore the use of color in Mo Yan's novels.There are six parts in this paper:The introduction part mainly analyzes the main experience of Mo Yan's novel creation,the main achievements of Mo Yan's color research,and the significance,innovation and difficulties of this paper.The first chapter mainly from the perspective of modern color psychology,combined with the time track of Mo Yan's creation,analyzes the allegory and the changing process of the color image in Mo Yan's novels,mainly involving the red image,green image and blue image in Mo Yan's novels.The second chapter mainly analyzes the use of color language in Mo Yan's novels,including inheriting the realistic method of color in traditional novel writing,using color to describe characters and scenery,and using rich imagination and color control ability,using feeling to describe color,adding the magic characteristics of the novel.The third chapter mainly analyzes the artistic characteristics and literary value of color in Mo Yan's novels,from the aesthetic,grotesque and symbolic aspects.Mo Yan's novels add tension and aesthetic effect to the novels by means of strong complementary color contrast,cold and warm color juxtaposition,and give color the function of adjusting narrative rhythm with avariety of color change combinations.Secondly,the color of ugliness in Mo Yan's novels is everywhere.Behind the grotesque color is the deep expression of Mo Yan's writing of judging ugliness.In addition,Mo Yan uses color to symbolize the appearance,action and psychological activities of the characters,so that color becomes an effective symbol after strong life experience and unique rational thinking.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the reasons behind the use of color in Mo Yan's novels.This chapter deeply analyzes and expounds from three aspects: the influence of life experience,the communication with painters,as well as Mo Yan's own color consciousness and aesthetic consciousness,and explores the reasons from Mo Yan's life experience.The conclusion part summarizes the overall characteristics of color application in Mo Yan's novels and reveals the unique literary value behind color.The color words everywhere in Mo Yan's novels not only immerse the readers in the visual feast,but also provide a deeper level of symbol and connotation,artistically display the characters and plot of the novel,which is thought-provoking.He regards the inner feelings of the characters as the primary principle of color setting,or pursues the aesthetic effect of defamiliarization.He combines the colors and images that are different from each other,breaking through the shackles of objective colors in nature and giving freedom of expression to colors that never existed.
