Reflection On The Development Trend Of Chinese Internet Literature From The Perspective Of Comparison

In March 1998,Pi Zicai published "The First Intimate Contact" on the Internet.This work was very popular,and was regarded as the beginning of Chinese Internet Literature by many researchers.According to this calculation,Chinese Internet Literature has developed for more than 20 years.In the past 20 years,with a large number of readers and authors,the stock of works and economic benefits,Chinese Internet Literature has gradually become a unique phenomenon in the history of Chinese literature,which has attracted extensive attention of literary critic.Although there are many concerns about the phenomenon of network literature,most of the researches focus on the current situation in China instead of the situation of the west,so this paper tries to make a little supplement on this issue.The Internet Literature based on the media revolution is a global literary phenomenon,but its development between China and the west is very different.Comparatively speaking,China's Internet Literature has formed a relatively fixed operation mode in the author,works,readers,website,IP adaptation and other major links,which jointly gave birth to the maturity of Chinese Internet Literature industry.Moreover,under the background of globalization,Chinese Internet Literature continues to be exported,affecting Southeast Asia,Europe and the United States and other places.Chinese Internet Literature is becoming the world's four popular cultural forms,in parallel with Hollywood movies,Korean television plays,and Japanese animation,"a cultural output power with international competitiveness and national characteristics." But the Western Network Literature is only satisfied with the hypertext literature experiment or the same humanities creation in the small circle.It mainly amuses itself,lacks the ambition to fight for the market,and does not form the industrialization.In other words,the western network literature is still elite and minority,while the Chinese Internet Literature is developing into the Western cultural environment.In this case,we need to get rid of the single dimension perspective and use a cross-cultural perspective to re-examine the current situation of Chinese Internet Literature,which is conducive to providing a more accurate positioning and development path for Chinese Internet Literature.The reasons for the rapid development of Chinese Internet Literature are complex,therefore this paper is only focus on literature and cultural environment,literary production mechanism,copyright and other major factors to make an analysis.The different features of Chinese and western network literature are related to the different literary ecology between China and the West.From this perspective,the re-positioning of Chinese Internet Literature can accurately catch some disadvantages in the development of Chinese Internet Literature,and draw on effective development measures from the West.It needs to be noted that there have been many researches on the classic Chinese online literature works and writers,so this paper no longer focuses on specific writers or works,but focuses on the reasons for the "unique scenery" in Chinese Internet Literature from a comparative perspective,and makes a cold thinking on the "prosperity" driven by industrialization.
