Industrial Narrative Research In The New Century

The industrial narration in the new century mainly refers to the novels which take modern industry as the background,industrial workers as the narrative object,express workers' life and reflect the internal contradictions and external problems in the industrial field in the new stage of rapid economic and social development in China since the 21st century.This paper takes the representative industrial narrative works published since 2000 as the research object,summarizes and discusses the three major themes of China's industrial narrative in the new century,as well as the ideological and artistic value and limitations of the industrial narrative in the new century.The introduction part introduces the background of the new century and the overall changes in the industrial field,and combs the development context of industrial narrative research,the important significance and value of promoting the development and prosperity of industrial narrative literature in China.The first chapter mainly discusses the new century industrial narrative's review and panoramic depiction of the passionate years in the era of planned economy in China's industrial field,the difficult reform in the period of social transformation and the numerous realistic development situation in the era of market economy.The second chapter focuses on the deep exploration of the survival anxiety,identity crisis and humanitarian brilliance of the workers in the process of social reform and development in China under the guidance of "literature is human studies".The third chapter discusses the theme of industrial Narrative Culture in the new century from the perspective of the development of China's industrial civilization.It mainly involves various problems exposed in the development of industrial civilization,such as the attachment of unemployed/retired workers to their spiritual home,the conflict between migrant workers and urban citizens,and the alienation of human nature in industrial society.The last chapter summarizes the value,limitation and its reason of industrial narrative in the new century.Its main value lies in the ideological and artistic achievements made in the expansion of theme,characterization,narrative art exploration and recording of the development of Chinese industry.At the same time,due to the limitations of theme characteristics,social environment and creative team,it also has some shortcomings,such as weak quantity and quality,low conception of pattern,lack of historical awareness and humanistic care.The analysis and exploration of industrial narrative in the new century try to provide experience and reference for the creation and research of industrial narrative literature in the future,and hope for the future development of industrial narrative literature in China.
