Research On The Development Of Beach Land At The Estuary Of The Yellow River In Northern Jiangsu In The Qing Dynasty

The sediment content of the Yellow River is huge.The estuary beach area is formed by the yellow water entering the sea and the tidal water is deposited by the top support.It has the characteristics of continuously extending outward.Since the Yellow River flooded the Huaihe River in the south,due to sedimentation and silting of the beach,the Yellow River estuary in the north of Jiangsu experienced a period of continuous development of land to the sea.The Qing Dynasty was a period of rapid development of the Yellow River Estuary delta towards the sea.The estuary moved eastward quickly and the beach land was massively stagnated.This laid the ecological foundation for the large-scale development of the estuary beach area in the Qing Dynasty.The lush reeds growing on the beach of estuary are important river engineering materials.The beach land can gradually evolve into mature fields through desalination and reclamation,providing precious cultivated land resources for human reproduction.Driven by their own interests,the state and the people of the Qing Dynasty carried out beach development activities of varying degrees.In the early Qing Dynasty,Jin Fu began to pay attention to the development of beach land at the estuary while governing the Yellow River.In the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi,Weidang Camp was established as a special agency for managing the development of the Yellow River estuary reed beach.This is the result of the joint action of the ecological environment of the Yellow River estuary and the Qing government ’s river management policy.The practice of beach development in Weidang Camp presents the dynamic interaction between factors such as environmental changes outside the Yunti Pass,national policies,beach development in Weidang Camp and public reclamation activities.The establishment of Weidang Camp is largely to serve the river management project.The harvesting of reed firewood and the reclamation activities of the people are the effective use of special ecology at the estuary.Human activities and ecology present a dynamic adaptation to coexist.Reed conservation and reclamation activities have an adverse impact on the Yellow River effluent.With the siltation of the estuary,the effluent environment of the Yellow River estuary deteriorated,the balance between human activities and ecology was broken,and the conflict intensified.Eventually,with the Yellow River northward migration,the area ecological society changed dramatically.From the perspective of administrative divisions,the establishment of Funing County in the ninth year of Yongzheng was the result of the combined action of siltation development and human development activities in the estuary beach of the Yellow River.From the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty,the Yellow River estuary has formed large beaches,and some of them have gradually met the conditions for reclamation after a long development process,and formed a land suitable for humans to live for a long time.Until the Yellow River diversion in Xianfeng five years ago,the Yellow River estuary in northern Jiangsu in the Qing Dynasty always showed the ecological characteristics of continuous silting beach,which means that new land is constantly being generated from the sea.On this ecological basis,the Weidang camp of the Qing Dynasty and the beach development activities of the people of Funing County jointly promoted the formation and development of the local society of the Yellow River estuary.Due to the special ecological environment of the Yellow River estuary,the land in the Qing Dynasty was strongly developed.The continuous siltation of the beach land resulted in the addition of a large amount of land resources in the area.On this basis,on the one hand,the Qing government developed beach land in the form of cutting reed firewood in the Weidang camp,which provided important material guarantee for the river management project;On the other hand,as the beach land gradually developed into fertile cultivated land,the reclamation activities also gradually developed,the land expanded,the population multiplied,and then promoted the development of local society.The ecological evolution of the Yellow River estuary beach and the development of the beach together constitute the core driving force mechanism for the creation of the political area and social development in the region.The development of the Yellow River estuary beaches in the Qing Dynasty gave priority to serving the river administration,including estuary governance and river engineering materials.The development process was led by the state.Secondly,the development of beaches at the estuary also promotes regional social development.Land is an important basic means of production.The Yellow River estuary provides a large amount of new land resources,which is extremely attractive to the people.The increase in land area and the concentration of population have promoted the development of land areas towards the sea.Beach development is a dynamic process of tortuous development between people and people,people and ecology in conflict and
