The study aims to research the effectiveness of visual aids for sentence stress.18Korean-speaking learners of Chinese were taken as speakers,and we analyze the 48 sentences which were perceived and produced by speakers to investigate their prosodic stress.Based on the experimental results of perception and production,analysis was carried out to figure out the relationship between perception and production of sentence stress for those speakers,and whether the visual training can improve their sentence stress by visual aids.Besides that,finding out the different characteristic of sentence stress among different positions in one sentence by comparing.First of all,it shows that the perception of sentence stress has no significant effect on the production of sentence stress overall.However,the difference between them is significant,and the perception of sentence stress was significantly better than production.Besides that,there is a certain correlation between perception and production of in the same sentence stress,and there is no correlation between perception and production of sentence stress in the first and the last position in a sentence.Secondly,the following conclusions can be drawn from the contrast of training method.(1)there is no significant difference between the rate of perceived improvement of sentence stress and the rate of output improvement.The improvement rate of sentence stress in the group of visual aids is higher than that in the group of non-visual aids,which indicating that the visual aids has a positive effect on the overall improvement rate of learners.(2)From the perspective of positions,visual aids have a positive effect on the rate of perceived improvement of sentence stress;the rate of improvement in the sentences is highest,followed by the position which is at the beginning,and finally it is at the end of a sentence.(3)From the perspective of position,the visual aids has no significant effect on the rate of improvement of production.Also,there is no significant difference between the rate of improvement of sentence stress in positions.
