The Roman conquest brought new changes to Egyptian judicial work.As an ancient civilization with a long history,Egypt had been ruled by the Pharaohs and Ptolemy for 3,000 years before the arrival of the Romans.Its population composition was quite complex.Different regions,different ethnic groups were politically,economically,There are differences in culture and other aspects.In order to ensure the smooth operation of the ancient Egyptian state machine,maintain social order and resolve various contradictions in society,the ruler is inseparable from the mandatory weapon of law.Due to the characteristics of "administration and administration of justice" in ancient Egyptian society,the reform of the political system of the Roman rulers in the Egyptian region triggered a change in the judicial system to a certain extent.In practice,this will inevitably produce conflicts and integrations with the original legal system.The legal practices of the Pharaoh Egypt and the Ptolemy Dynasty and the judicial practice of the Roman Empire in Egypt mutually absorb and learn from each other,which makes the legal dynasty in Egypt.Development in the direction of Romanization.The normative and compulsory litigation characteristics of Egypt formed during the Roman Empire,respect for the fact that trials coexist with facts and law,and implement the enforcement principle of combining legal and proper involvement of military officials.The interlocking of the three not only established the effective rule of the Roman Empire over the provinces of Egypt at the judicial level,but also provided a good legal guarantee for the vital interests of the people in Egypt.
