Singing Analysis Of Italian Songs In The Early 19th Century And Chinese Art Songs In The Early 20th Century

As a master of arts majoring in music with vocal music as my focus,singing classical Italian vocal music and Chinese art songs is an indispensable and important part of learning.It plays a very important role and significance in training sound skills,cultivating music accomplishment and mastering music styles.In the two concerts of my master's study,many Chinese art songs and Italian songs were included.This paper is based on the analysis of the singing of the two styles of Chinese and Italian songs selected from the two concerts during my master's study.Starting from the aspects of style characteristics,creative characteristics,teaching value and so on,it is summarized the experience of performing the songs.The six selected works include three Italian vocal music works in the early 19 th century and three Chinese art songs in the early 20 th century.In the process of learning,through the consultation of literature and the practical exploration,it is found that there are many similarities between Italian songs in the early 19 th century and Chinese art songs in the early 20 th century,thus I have formed a strong interest in the research for them.The paper is composed of introduction,main text,and conclusion.The main text is divided into three parts.In the first part,it is briefly summarized the style characteristics of Italian songs in the early 19 th century and Chinese art songs in the early 20 th century.That is,the birth and development of Italian songs in the early 19 th century and Chinese art songs in the early 20 th century,and their artistic features as well as their academic value in the history of vocal music education.This part has provided historical evidence for the following analysis of performing the songs.The second part makes a concrete analysis of six works from four aspects: skill handling,emotional expression,characterization and poetry rhyme,covering three Italian songs Promise,Shepherdess of the Alps,I want to build a Palace,of the early 19 th century,and three Chinese art songs Spring Song,Homesickness and Nostalgia of the early 20 th century.In the third part,it is summarized the similarities and differences between Italian songs in the early 19 th century and Chinese art songs in the early 20 th century in terms of their development,ideology,and artistic characteristics.It is also expounded the personal experience after performing from the aspects of the addressing of singing skills,stage performance and so on.
