A Brief Analysis Of The Characterization Of Juan Sheng In The Opera Regret For The Past

The opera "regret for the past" is adapted from Lu Xun's novel of the same name.The script is adapted from Lu Xun's only love novel "regret for the past",which is also the first Lyric psychological opera in the history of Chinese opera.The opera "regret for the past" was born to commemorate the 100 th anniversary of Lu Xun's birth.It was adapted by Wang Quan and Han Wei,and composed by Shi Guangnan,the people's musician.Opera respect the original works in creation and strive to maximize the presentation of the original works.In order to commemorate the 100 th anniversary of the May 4th Movement and the 70 th anniversary of the founding of new China,the Conservatory of music of Henan University rehearsed this classic National Opera again.In the rehearsal,I participated in the rehearsal of the whole opera,but because of the precious opportunity,there are many students who need opera to hone themselves in the graduate stage,so I only played in autumn and winter.The article is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the foreword,this paper expounds the purpose of writing from three aspects: 1.The revelation of the novel "regret for the past" to the youth at that time.2.The distinctive artistic features and unique charm of the opera "regret for the past".3.The unique charm of the characters in the play and the reasons for choosing the topic.The main body is divided into four parts: the first part briefly introduces the difference and unity between the original work and the opera script,and then roughly introduces the overall layout of the opera.The second part: analyze the character image of Juansheng from three aspects: the original work,opera and ethics.At the same time,fully excavate the unique character characteristics of Juansheng from three angles.The third part: from singing techniques,lines and main aria three aspects of the role of Juansheng in detail.The fourth part: the author's harvest and experience after playing Juansheng.As well as realize in the student stage to be able to perform the opera to promote their own professional.Conclusion part: reviewed the feelings of Juansheng,summed up some of the feelings of playing Juansheng.I hope this paper can contribute a little to the study of the opera sad for the past.On the basis of previous studies,this paper briefly analyzes the characters of Juansheng,and focuseson the two scenes of opera autumn and winter.Want to know more about the artistic value of this opera,through the writing of the paper can better understand this opera and can provide some reference for the performance of the opera hero.
