The aria "Unfortunate Life" from the opera "Regret for the Past" is the first opera that composed by Shi Guangnan and wrote by Wang Quan and Han Wei. As one of successful exploration in the opera field of the songwriters, its creation and success on the stage plays an important role in the history of Chinese opera. This paper focuses the aria "Unfortunate Life" which set as the a research object, putting forward own ideas about the character's artistic image of Zijun in "Unfortunate Life", starting from emotional psychological change and personality characteristic as well as combination with own experiences with long-term learning and performances, from four perspectives including the creative background of aria, the personality analysis of the characters, the emotional process of the work and the vivid second creation.
