The Image Analysis Of Zijun In The Opera Regret For The Past From A Feminist Perspective

In 1981, to commemorate Luxun's one hundred year birthday, the famous composer Shi Guangnan created a full-length opera based on his novel Regret for the Past of the same name. Is Zijun firm or weak ,dedication or obtain ,the answer will be decisively different standing on the two different perspectives of male and female .From the feminist point of view, this article mainly analyzes the operatic image,musical image and the aesthetic value of Zijun.The introduction of this article presents us the theory of feminism, Zijun's image from the traditional patriarchy point of view and the significance of the analysis of Zijun's image from the feminist point of view. The main body consists of three chapters. Chapter one gives us a brief account of the creation background and music feature of the opera Regret for the Past; chapter two analyzes Zijun's image from the feminist point of view; chapter three analyzes the aesthetic value of this image under the view of feminism. The conclusion of this article summarizes Zijun's image and characteristics from the feminist point of view and generalizes the significance of the analysis of Zijun's image under this angel of view.
