A Report On Interpretation Of Qu Opera In Henan A Destined Love In Wind And Snow(Act 1-6)

For a long time,when we talk about the external dissemination of Chinese opera culture,compared with Beijing opera,the quintessence of China,the number and influence of the translation of representative works of local operas in provinces and cities are slightly inferior to each other,which is very unfavorable to the spread and development of Chinese opera culture,especially local opera.This report is based on the author's interpretation practice of the drama film: A Destined Love in Wind and Snow.A Destined Love in Wind and Snow is a famous traditional satirical comedy repertoire translated by the author as a volunteer translator for foreign teachers and students in Henan University.The author chooses French hermeneutics as the guiding theory of this thesis after integrating the translation cases with his own professional knowledge and interpretation practice.Hermeneutic theory is a translation theory put forward by the French School of Hermeneutics in the late 1960 s about interpreting and translating non-literary texts.The theory holds that translation is interpretation,which is a kind of interpretation of the original meaning by means of linguistic symbols and their own cognitive supplement.What the translator should pursue is not the equivalence of linguistic units,but the equivalence of the original meaning or effect.In addition,in the process of real interpretation practice,the author not only includes the theory of interpretation,but also is influenced by some other translation theories that graduate students have learned during their reading.At the same time,due to the particularity of the nature of the source language as the stage script,especially the real-time requirements of interpretation practice,the author also uses the translation including Newmark communicative translation Among other theories,such as translation theory,semantic translation and inter symbol translation,Newmark's communicative translation theory is more embodied in the translation.Despite the guidance of translation theory,the author still encountered many difficulties and problems in the real interpretation scene,including the audience's understanding of the body language of the stage play,the author had to help the audience deepen their understanding by suspending the supplementary explanation;secondly,the length of the stage play itself and the timeliness of interpretation required the author to carry out redundant information in some Chinese In order to reduce the audience's listening fatigue,the author analyzes the actual cases in the actual interpretation activities according to the theory and the practice of stage play interpretation,and gives the corresponding solutions to some difficulties and problems encountered on the scene.27 translation cases are selected to illustrate the translation strategies and methods chosen by the author.In short,this paper takes the theory of interpretation as the general direction,uses the theory to guide the practice of interpretation,and combines the real situation in the interpretation activities to sort out typical and representative translation cases.The author will also give a reasonable theoretical explanation and response strategies,so as to provide reference for the future interpretation activities and improve the quality of interpretation.
