An Analysis Of The Religious Factors In American Diplomacy To Vietnam

Since the normalization of relations between Vietnam and the United States(July 1995),the relations between Vietnam and the United States have gradually recovered and developed into many fields.The two sides reached a number of consensus on diplomatic cooperation.The United States and Vietnam have developed constructive relations on the basis of mutual respect for each other and the interests of the two peoples.Over the past two decades,the two countries have made considerable progress in deepening cooperation in various fields(politics,national security,economic and trade,science and technology,education and training,humanitarian and other fields),which is conducive to further strengthening Vietnam US relations.But in addition to these achievements,Vietnam and the United States have different histories,cultures,political systems,values and development levels,so they still have different views on democracy,human rights and religion,especially on religion.Religious issues,as well as economic and political issues,have become obstacles to bilateral relations.It is the will of both sides to deepen the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the United States,but there are also obstacles and obstacles that are not easy to overcome,and religious factors are such a problem.Religious policy is one of the important cultural foreign policies of the United States.As the most powerful developed country in the world,the United States' foreign policy has been concerned and studied by many parties.In recent years,although more and more scholars have paid attention to the introduces the religious situation of Vietnam,and comprehensively analyzes the religion of Vietnam(distribution,characteristics,religious followers,religious organizations,etc.).As a country with diverse religious beliefs,Vietnam is regarded as a world religious Museum.Because of the diversity of religions,there are many characteristics in Vietnam's religious policies and religious problems,which pose great challenges to the government and the management of religions.This is also the cause of most religious problems.This part mainly analyzes the religious issues in Vietnam,including:policy issues,recognized religious organizations,new religious phenomena and conclusions about whether there is religious conflict in Vietnam.The second part:analyze the purpose of American foreign policy to Vietnam under the influence of religious factors.The United States wants to promote its ideology and social political system to Vietnam by virtue of religious factors,so it
