The Transition Of Youth Subculture

"Sang culture" is a trend of youth subculture popular among the youth groups in China in recent years.From the emoticon and quotations to theme films and TV plays,songs and games,"Sang culture" has set off a cultural upsurge of national concern,and it has become a stage for young people to express their emotions and show themselves with rich carrier forms.Traditional youth subculture research theories often follow the study trend of Birmingham school,and it discuss the youth subculture phenomenon from the theoretical discourse of "resistance and incorporation",but the "Sang culture" which born in the Internet era has more new features of the Internet.In this paper,"Sang culture" is placed in the system of youth subculture,using the perspective of Internet to examine it.Through text analysis,in-depth interviews,in order to sums up the cultural phenomena in the development of "Sang culture",sorts out the style construction process of "Sang culture",analyzes the emotional connotation behind "Sang culture",and probes into the change of characteristics after the youth subculture and Internet "co branding".It is found that as a youth subculture in the Internet era,the meaning of "Sang" has been separated from the connotation of modern Chinese norms and generalized into a label with multiple meanings.The "Sang culture" group uses "bricoldge","embezzlement","homology" and other ways to subvert and deconstruct the existing symbols in real life,turning the known meanings and uses to other meanings and uses,so as to build a discourse system belonging to the cultural group.It presents a style with the image of "virtual decadent spirit",the behavior of "showing their decadent state",and the jargon of "self mockery".The Group Mentality Reflected in "Sang culture" can reflect the spiritual demands and collective appearance of youth groups in the context of current social transformation,The study found that "Sang culture" not only has decadent,negative emotions,but also contains the fun of youth group entertainment and carnival,and also contains a kind of self-confidence and upward positive psychology.After embracing the Internet,youth subculture gradually wanders between the real and virtual,resistance and digestion,edge and mass,local and global boundaries.Its group identity shows a general and fluid turn,and its production mode enters the path of digitalization and self reproduction.Its aesthetic taste also shows the new features of the popularity of fragmented information,the elimination of resistance by entertainment,and the dialectical integration of globalization and localization.Through the analysis of "Sang culture",this paper hopes to help the public to look at the youth subculture in the Internet age with a comprehensive and developing perspective,and let the youth subculture in the Internet age play a continuous role in stimulating youth vitality and enhancing youth creativity.
