Research On The Stipulation Of "Object" From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

Just as the material category is an important topic that cannot be avoided by any philosopher,it is in an important basic position in Marxist philosophy.Correct understanding of the concept of "things" under the historical materialism perspective has an important role in clarifying the position of Marxism,grasping and applying Marxist philosophy,and dispelling people’s misunderstanding of Marxist philosophy.Needless to say,the understanding of the material category cannot be separated from the theoretical context of historical materialism.This means that,on the one hand,we must start with historical materialism and always analyze and explain the material category in the theoretical context of historical materialism,explaining the specific social historical stipulations of "things";on the other hand,Through criticizing the old philosophy,it points out that the historical materialism has its own scientific nature,and then clarifies the historical understanding of the historical materialism’s "material" and its contemporary value.The first aspect is analysis and interpretation from the affirmative aspect,and the latter aspect is analysis and interpretation from the negative aspect.Historical materialism is Marx ’s epoch-making creation.As Marx ’s new world view is different from the mechanical,metaphysical,and incompleteness of the western old materialist world view,it is revolutionary and practical.The "things" in the context of historical materialism are not abstract "things" but concrete "things".In other words,such beings(things,reality,sensibility)are understood as "human perceptual activities" and as practice.This article first traces the old philosophy’s metaphysical understanding of "things" from the perspective of the history of thought.Through a comprehensive and in-depthanalysis of the "material" of traditional Western materialism,the main connotation,existence,and main problems of "material" under the perspective of old materialism are expounded.Secondly,on this basis,the specific provisions of the concept of "thing" in the interpretation of historical materialism are elaborated,mainly from the "thing" as the object of practical activity,as the "thing" of social relations,and as the "thing" of materialization set forth.Finally,it explains the transcendence of historical materialism over old philosophy by comparing old and new materialism’s understanding of "material",highlighting the critical and revolutionary practical nature of historical materialism and the contemporary value of "material" revolutionary understanding.
