Semantic Analysis And Inter-translation Research On Russian And Chinese Visual Verb “??????/see”

Vision is one of the most important cognitive styles as well as a fatal one among the 5 senses of human beings.Researches show that about 80% of information from the outside world in human brains is acquired through visions.As the most important part among constitutions of vocabularies,verbs take a place in all languages.Thus,expressions on visual behaviors are abundant in languages of different countries.With Russian and Chinese visual verb “??????/see” as an example,it is of important practical significances to compare similarities and differences between the 2 verbs from 3 aspects: lexicology,syntax and translatology.This thesis is divided into 4 chapters: Chapter I is the introduction,in which Russian and Chinese visual verb “??????/see” is confirmed as the object of study by research background and significance of the topic,and it also has an overview on the thesis from multiple aspects,including research statuses and development trends home and abroad,subject sources,research contents,research techniques of the topic,key and difficult points of research as well as corpus sources,etc.;Chapter II contains vocabulary and semantic researches on “??????/see”,in which in-depth analyses and comparative studies are made on its senses of dictionary entry,semanteme and semantic field respectively through semanteme analytical theory and semantic field theory;Chapter III contains syntax and semantic researches on“??????/see”,in which detailed researches and comparative analyses are made on semantic coordination valence and syntax arguments of “??????/see” based on coordination valence grammatical theory of Moscow semantic school;Chapter IV contains researches on inter-translations as well as summaries of inter-translation rules of “??????/see”,in which case analyses are made with A Sportsman's Sketches and its Chinese edition translated by Feng Zikai as corpuses and through comparisons with online translation results of Baidu,Google and Yandex.Research results have further verified relative theories about lexicology,semantics,syntactics,contrastive linguistics and translatology,deepened and supplemented specific researches on lexicology,semantics and syntactics as well as directly revealed similarities and differences in lexical semantics and syntactic functions of “??????/see”,the commonly-used verb in Russian and Chinese,which are of significant application values for Russian-Chinese translations and language teaching.
