Tourism is a highly culturally loaded industry.The tourism industry in the new era needs to develop further,and the people's growing multicultural needs need to be further met.The integration of culture and tourism and the development of a new form of cultural tourism industry are the general trend of China to enhance cultural soft power and promote the prosperity and development of tourism culture.This article takes 11 provinces and cities cultural tourism industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research object,in-depth study of relevant theories and research on "cultural tourism industry competitiveness" at home and abroad,on the basis of mastering the basic theoretical concepts,according to "literature review-concept theory-The research context of the research status—the construction of evaluation index system—comprehensive analysis—countermeasure suggestion was launched.First,based on the Porter Diamond Model,a preliminary evaluation index system for the competitiveness of the cultural tourism industry was constructed,and 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt were used as empirical analysis research objects.The PLS structural equation model was used to simplify and optimize the index system and obtain 4 Primary indicators:basic competitiveness,core competitiveness,environmental competitiveness,sustainable competitiveness,and 15 secondary indicators:the number of intangible cultural heritage projects above the provincial level,the number of famous historical and cultural towns and villages in China,etc.Secondly,the objective entropy method and the subjective expert scoring method are combined to determine the index weights,the original data is weighted,and the gray correlation method and TOPSIS combined analysis and evaluation method are used to obtain the comprehensive competitiveness of cultural tourism in 11 provinces and cities and the competitiveness scores of each dimension With reference to the results of hierarchical cluster analysis,the ranking of the competitiveness of 11 provinces and cities is ranked,and then the similarity and difference of cultural tourism competitiveness of 11 provinces and cities are compared and analyzed from a comprehensive and different dimensions.It was found that the comprehensive competitiveness of cultural tourism in 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt changed from high to low:The first echelon:Jiangsu and Zhejiang,leading in the comparison of cultural tourism competitiveness,in addition to sustainable competitiveness and environmental competitiveness,The rest of the competitiveness ranks first;the second echelon:Sichuan and Yunnan,which are at a superior level in the competitiveness of the cultural tourism industry,rank first in environmental competitiveness and sustainable competitiveness,but the core competitiveness level is low;The third echelon:Hunan,Anhui,Hubei,Jiangxi,Guizhou,and Chongqing are among the middle and lower levels of the cultural tourism industry,and the competitiveness of each dimension is basically the middle;the fourth echelon:Shanghai,in the cultural tourism Competitiveness is relatively low.Although the core competitiveness level is the first,the remaining competitiveness levels are relatively low.Finally,according to the evaluation results,it proposes targeted countermeasures for the development of cultural tourism in 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
