Jiangnan culture centered on the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River is an important part of regional culture. From ancient times to the present,Jiangnan has always shined in literary works. As a symbol,it bears the different feelings and thoughts of literati. When studying Jiangnan literature,it is necessary to focus on the group of Jiangsu writers. The group of writers in Jiangsu is a large group in the development of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, leaving outstanding works and strong colors in the history of literature. The traces of this also explain to some extent the importance of the existence of "Jiangnan" to the development of literature. This article selects ZhongSutong,GeFei,and Fan Xiaoqing, three contemporary writers in Jiangsu with different writing styles,to explore the different representations of the cultural imagination in Jiangnan.Firstly, this thesis will discuss the writing of Jiangnan by three writers.Jiangnan in Su Tong's writings are gloomy and decadent, and their images are mostly negative. And Ge Fei's Jiangnan is beautiful, like a utopian dream. They are all avant-garde.Jiangnan's presentation in their writings has a similar aesthetic imagination to some extent, but it presents a completely different imagery. The biggest feature of Jiangnan in Fan Xiaoqing's writings is secular, full of human Pyrotechnics.Suzhou has a completely different appearance in the writings of Su Tong and Fan Xiaoqing. The fourth chapter of the thesis will discuss the reasons for the formation of the three writers' Jiangnan writing from three aspects:the literary age and literary trend of the three writers' writing time, the three writer's personal character and growth experience, and the geographical differences of the three writers.
