View Song-Ci From The Point Of Regional Culture: Focus On The Region Of Jiangnan

Ci, a genre of Chinese verses, saw it's climax in Song dynasty with incomparable talented authors, great works, rich and colorful materials and charming styles; therefore , the study on Song Ci has been a highlight in the realm of classic literature. The article try to examine the authors and their works in Jiangnan, a region of China, in the view of regional culture with an aim at extending the realm and visual field of Song Ci study, establishing an regional culture-centered scaffold in the related traditional study.The article extends in two sections: The first one "introduction" focuses it's attention on "the spirit of regional culture " which is the key of regional culture. The section trys to deal with five problems .The fisrt one is "the relationship between regional geography and the spirit of regional culture in Jiangnan". The second one is "the content and essence of the cultural spirit of Jiangnan ". The third one is "the cultural ecology in Jiangnan in Song dynasty". The fourth one is "the life style of Shi, a special rank in Song dynasty, and it's impact on the mental state of the authors of Ci". The fifth one is "the relationship between the culture of Jiangnan and the materials of the Ci in Song dynasty", in which the article highlights the impact of the regional culture of Jiangnan on Ci in Song in two levels: one is the relationship between the personality , mental state ,behavioral style of the authors of Ci and the cultural spirit in Jiangnan, the other is the dependent of the material and style on the culture in the region of Jiangnan. The second one is case study. In this section, Jinling , Zhenjiang, Suchow, Huzhou , Hangzhou , which we call "typical Jiangnan region", have been selected to give an in-depth analysis to their impact on the authors' life style such as "how did they live their life?" "how did they appreciate beauty?" "how did they choose materials for their works?", and so on .Here the articlehighlights some works and authors which have distinctive regional characteristics to probe the-channels though which the regional culture seep into the genre of Ci as well as it's expression style .In the part of conclusion , we'll find some discussion on the problems pertaining to other regions in Jiangnan on the topic .
