The Study On The Family Structure Settings Of Full-length Novel In Ming And Qing Dynasties

The family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,Jin Ping Mei,Lin Lan Xiang,Xing Shi Yin Yuan Zhuan,Hong Lou Meng and Qi Lu Deng,are based on the daily life of Ximen Qing,Geng Lang,Chao Yuan,Di Xichen,Jia Baoyu and Tan Shaowen.They show their family marriage,family ethics and the rise or fall of their families,and reflect the social reality of Ming and Qing Dynasties.These works include the Author's attitude about the world,and his ideal of "writing the country by family".The family structure is an important way of setting the novel.It is great significance for the interpreting novel and the understanding of the author's creative ideas to explore the of family structure in the long family novels of Ming and Qing DynastiesThis paper is divided into three parts.The first part combs the family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the family structure,mainly from three aspects: the family structure form of the past dynasties in China,the type of family structure setting in the family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,and the similarities and differences of family structure setting,so as to understand that the setting of family structure in the novels not only conforms to the characteristics of the times of the social family structure of Ming and Qing Dynasties,but also includes the types by sociologists proposed,such as husband and wife family structure,core family structure and so on.This paper sums up the similarities and differences of structure between the five family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties in the aspects of couple relationship and parent-child relationship.The second part expounds the family ethics connotation of family structure setting in the long family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties.The ethics of husband and wife,the ethics of parents and children and brothers in the novel are different from the traditional family ethics,it advocated by the Neo Confucianism of song and Ming Dynasties,they not only inherit the traditional ethics,but also break through the traditional ethics to a certain extent.The third part discusses the artistic purpose of family structure in the long family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties.First of all,in terms of plot narrative,the family intergenerational setting of two,three or four generations of family structure and the setting of in marriage relationship construct the super long narrative time and the network narrative structure of multiple families linked by one family,which re-appearance of the Ming and Qing society.Secondly,in the aspect of characterization,the similar family structure in the five novels has formed a similar family environment.In this typical family environment,Ximen Qing and others has grown the unique character of "self-centered";in addition,Ximen Qing and others have show multiple personalities by different family roles such as being a son,a husband and a father in the constantly changing family structure.In the end,it reveals the strong idea of "admonishing the good and punishing the evil" in the long family novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties.In the marriage of couples,the women who died because of feudal marriage in the five novels reveal the disadvantages of ancient marriage,both of which family novels main idea of persuading the people be kind.
