Reconsideration On Some Topics Of The Temperament Of The Pre-Qin Period

Based on the pre-Qin literature and unearthed cultural relics,this paper thinks about the temperament of the pre-Qin period,such as the eight line poem with seven characters to a line,pure sound,middle sound,Zeng Houyi bell octave grouping term,Fengwuwheng and so on,and puts forward some new opinions on the basis of the existing research.This paper holds that "eight line poem with seven characters to a line" are the law bell of the law,and the names of the seven law sounds set by law bell are Ruibin,Leisi,Weiyin,Yingyin,Guxi(Xuanzhong),Muyin(Taicu),and Zhuoguxi,above the law names of all countries at the level and are common among them.In the aspect of music form," pure sound " should be " gong,shang,jue,zhi,yu",they are gamut names,pitch is not high,without octave grouping meaning."middle sound" is limited to the "middle sound district " "gong,shang,jue,zhi,yu" five sound,pitch is fixed,with the meaning of octave grouping.And "pure sound" and "middle sound" all have the aesthetic meaning of mean and peace,which embodies the musical concept of people in the pre-Qin period.The name of "gong,shang,jue,zhi,yu" in octave group,which has no prefix,suffix and is in moderate range in Zeng Houyi bell,should be "middle sound group" instead of "pure sound group ".The "Feng five sound" "five sounds" is the five sounds of "gong,shang,jue,zhi,yu" obtained from the sound taken on the string,which is not the category of gamut.The premise is to take the sound on the string,which is manifested as the sound column of the drum part of the bell,which is the standard of "ritual" and carries the concept of ritual system."Feng five sound" is to emphasize the "five sound" ritual status,that is,partial sound is not allowed to enter the bell drum sound column.This kind of bell sound column feature based on the sound on the strings is characterized by the difference between the ceremony of the Chinese nationalities and the Rong Di in music.
