A Study On The Generation And Development Of The Contemporary Refined Stone Carving In Cangshu Suzhou

The refined stone carving in Cangshu Suzhou has a long history,is an indispensable page in the history of Chinese arts and crafts inkstone carving.With the development of the times,traditional refined stone carving in Cangshu Suzhou has been well-developed in the contemporary and generated other artistic expressions except inkstone carving.The refuned stone carved inkstone in Cangshu Suzhou and one of the four famous inkstones,refined clay stone carving has been always confused,it has never received attention by academic circles.With a series of accompanying problems,its development has been greatly hindered,causing that the refined stone carving in Cangshu are facing a great test of survival.Through searching a large number of domestic and foreign literature review,the thesis conducts the rectification of name of the refined stone carved inkstone in Cangshu Suzhou after tracing back to the historical background and development track of the generation of it.Through a large number of fieldwork,the thesis surveys and combs the contemporary rise and development of the refined stone carving in Cangshu and provides a large number of theoretical data for the in-depth study in the future.At last,this thesis puts forward its ideas on the protection,inheritance and development of the refined stone carving in Cangshu,hoping that the development of the refined stone carving in Cangshu Suzhou will be better in the future.
