Primary and secondary school mental health education is to improve the psychological quality of primary and secondary school students education,is an important content of quality education,with the development and progress of The Times,the country is paying more and more attention to the mental health of primary and secondary school students.However,the psychological problem of anxiety is widespread among middle school students in China,especially among high school students,which has a great impact on their academic development and mental health.However,negative life events are an important stressor affecting the anxiety level of adolescents.Anxiety sensitivity is the cognition of the anxiety response,which is closely related to the individual's anxiety level.Therefore,this study focuses on the relationship among negative life events,anxiety sensitivity and anxiety in Chinese high school students,and on this basis,interventions are conducted to alleviate anxiety.This study includes two sub-studies:In the first study,the Chinese version of the adolescent life event scale(ASLEC),the child anxiety sensitivity index scale(CASI)and the state-trait anxiety scale(STAI)were used to conduct a questionnaire survey among students in two high schools in wuhan and analyze the relationship among them.On the basis of study 1,study 2 conducted a group psychological counseling intervention study using the pre-test and post-test design of the experimental group and the control group.All the subjects were selected from study 1.A total of 24 senior high school students had high negative life events,anxiety sensitivity and anxiety levels.The selected 24 students were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group,with 12 each.The experimental group received group psychological counseling intervention for anxiety sensitivity,while the control group received irrelevant treatment for the same time.The pre-test and post-test data of the experimental group and the control group were analyzed to explore the intervention effect.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)negative life events in high school students were positively correlated with anxiety sensitivity and anxiety level;(2)anxiety sensitivity of high school students plays a completely mediating role between negative life events and anxiety.(3)cognitive interaction oriented group psychological counseling can effectively reduce anxiety sensitivity;(4)group psychological counseling for anxiety sensitivity can effectively relieve anxiety.
