Objective In order to reduce the high anxiety of college entrance examinationmore effectively, the author offers the studying psychology group counseling for theselected anxious high school seniors by using the revised edition of the self check listof test anxiety as measuring tool and helps them reduce the anxiety and improve thescores. Methods Using the self-revised edition of the self check table of text anxietyand based on the data analysis results from the investigation of602high schoolseniors, the paper provides the high anxious students with the studying psychologygroup counseling. Conclusion (1)Through the revised self check list of testanxiety, the source subscale of test anxiety mainly comes from six factors: the fear ofrelated test results, the worry of self image, the exclusion attitude of test, theadvanced anxiety, the excessive negative self evaluation and the secondary anxiety.Their Alpha coefficient of the internal consistency reliability is0.708. Moreover, thebehavior subscale of test anxiety includes the body reaction and thinking resistance,cognition disorder. The corresponding Alpha coefficient is0.763. The foregoingscales have good structural validity.(2)The studying psychology group counselingprogram has a certain pertinence, professionalism, operability, originality, and can bea part of Teacher training content, in order to improve the teacher of high schoolsenior to effectively deal with anxiety(.3)The psychology counseling teachers shouldpay more attention to the following students with demographic datum: female, majorin arts, average level self-assessment in study ability, medium or bad family finances,father with educational background of junior middle school or below, mother withelementary school, and regular relationship with father/mother.(4)The result ofexperimental group of75high school seniors shows that eight times of studyingpsychology group counseling can reduce the group member’s text anxietysignificantly and improve their scores as well.
