Zouma Folk Story in Chongqing has been listed into the first list of national intangible cultural heritages. This cultural heritage has huge number, rich plots and diverse types, which not only enrich the cultural life of the local people, but also contain the unique living wisdom and spirit of the people in the Southwest value. At present, there are more than 20 inheritors of this project, forming a unique group of Zouma Folk Story inheritors to jointly inherit this cultural heritage.Like other intangible cultural heritages in folk literature, the inheritance of the Zouma Folk Story faces serious problems of aging inheritors and lack of successors. In this regard, most of scholars are limited to studying representative inheritors. However, the group is the basis for the existence and dissemination of various folk literature, and it is more in line with the law of telling folk stories that the inheritor group is the main research subject.Through field research, interviews with inheritors, and collection of relevant literature,it is found that the current number of people in the Zouma Folk Story Heritage Group is close to all ages, which is suitable for gradient inheritance. The occupational composition of this group is more complex, the gender composition is relatively simple, and it incorporates some non-native inheritors of walking folk stories. Therefore, the Zouma Folk Story still has a relatively good inheritance ecology, but the complex group composition is likely to bring conflicts and contradictions of interest in various aspects. In addition, the living environment of the Zouma Folk Story inheritors is relatively consistent and the village complex is strong. And their folk story inheritance is mainly based on the combination of geographical and social heritage and the way of telling their folk stories has the characteristics of Sichuan and Chongqing. They love Zouma Folk Story and their hometown culture. They also have contributed to the inheritance. However, the inheritance work of this inheritance group is relatively scattered, each holds different positions, has multiple cultural identities and is difficult to coordinate.Futhermore, the main rights and interests are not adequately protected, which makes this group identity lacking and affects the shaping and reconstruction of the Zouma Folk Story. Therefore,in order to protect the group of inheritors of the Zouma Folk Story, enhance the group cohesion and identity, and promote the sustainable inheritance of the folk stories of Zouma, the first must be the overall live protection of their storytelling spaces;the second must fully consider the inheritance Issues such as fund allocation and the protection of the rights and interests of the main body provide effective and reasonable support to them;third,we must coordinate the time of inheritance activities, and pass on the Zouma Folk Story in our leisure time;the fourth is to break through the dilemma of the "inheritance" identity and expand the inheritance team.
