The change of political environment often leads to the turbulence of ideology and culture.There have been many changes of dynasties in Chinese history.The choices and expressions of the literati in this great change became a typical cultural phenomenon.Some of them did not want to get involved in the whirlpool of history and chose to escape the world,some wanted to capitalize the opportunity to express their ambitions.Some of them the struggled but in vain,and they could only place their emotions in the works.Wang Fuzhi was a well-known adherent scholar in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.He not only left a lot of works in the fields of Confucian classics,historiography,etc.,but also produced a considerable amount of poems which were mainly included in Wang Chuanshan Poetry Collection.Because of his special status as an adherent,Wang Fuzhi's had many connotative and subtle works.Perhaps because of the similar political environment and status,Wang Fuzhi and Ruan Ji — a famous scribe in the period of regime shift of Cao Wei State and one of the seven sages of bamboo grove — had similar feelings from different times.He once evaluated Ruan Ji's poem in detail in his work Selection of Ancient Poems.In addition,he wrote 82 lyric poems to imitate Ruan Ji's in order to harmonize his poems.Regardless of content or artistic approach,Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems have many similarities with Ruan Ji's,but the works also present a unique personal style.This paper takes Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems as the main research object,combines historical background of Wang Fuzhi and Ruan Ji and summarizes the characteristics of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems and his complex emotions in the time of regime shift.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction part briefly discusses the research status and research value of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems.The main body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the background of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems,analyzes the living conditions of the Ming survivors at that time and discusses the reasons in depth that Wang Fuzhi and Ruan Ji had the similar feelings from different times which caused Wang Fuzhi's imitatingpoems.The second chapter mainly analyzes the specific content of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems,which are divided into four types: sentimental,fairy,nostalgic,and unknown ideological poems.In order to explore the differences in content and emotion between Wang Fuzhi and Ruan Ji,understand the special mood of Wang Fuzhi at the time of the transition and the implicit expression of emotion in his poems.The third chapter mainly discusses the artistic method of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems,elaborates the use of metaphor tactics,the symbolic meaning of utensils,descriptions of materials,citations of allusions and unclear intention of writing.Through the above aspects,the paper explores how Wang Fuzhi's poems express his feelings by objects,use careful brushwork to portray natural sceneries,convey the inner meaning by different utensils and express his hidden and unspeakable emotions through allusions,in order to understand Wang Fuzhi's deep implication,distinct personality and strong subjective color of the creative characteristics.By analyzing the use of these different writing techniques,the paper explores the inner meaning of some unknown ideological poems.The famous feature of Ruan Ji's lyric poems is profound significance and Wang Fuzhi's imitating works also have a lot of unknown intentions.Therefore,the second and third chapters of this paper have a separate section for the analysis.The concluding part makes a general exposition of Wang Fuzhi's imitating lyric poems,elaborates his inheritance of Ruan Ji's lyric poems and Han Wei ancient style as well as special significance in Wang Fuzhi's creation.Therefore,the in-depth exploration of responsorial poems of Wang Fuzhi to Ruan Ji's lyric poems is helpful to improve our understanding of their thoughts and writing techniques and gain a more particular knowledge of Wang Fuzhi's self-cognition and his acceptance of Ruan Ji.Probing into Wang Fuzhi's thoughts and emotions in the era of regime change in order to gain a better understanding of the thought of Wang Fuzhi and Ruan Ji.
