With the concept of "One Belt,One Road" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping in 2013,the trade volume between China and the countries along the "Belt and Road" has grown rapidly every year.In terms of trade in cultural products,it has achieved a major breakthrough in growth rate of more than 10%for four consecutive years. The trade volume of cultural products has reached 100 billion US dollars in 2017.Under the current situation,it is of practical significance to explore the development of China's cultural products trade with the "Belt and Road" countries. This paper focuses on the investigation of the status quo of cultural products trade between China and the countries along "the Belt and Road".On this basis, the research further explores the influencing factors and characteristics of its development. This paper first expounds the related concepts of cultural product trade, analyzes the characteristics of contemporary cultural trade, and introduces the relevant theories of cultural product trade.Secondly,it uses literature analysis to summarize the background and current trade situation. It has been found that there is a slowdown in growth, uneven product structure and imbalanced market structure. At the same time, this paper analyzes the possible influencing factors behind the status quo.The fifth chapter conducts an empirical study on the influencing factors of China's trade with "the Belt and Road" countries through the construction of the trade gravity model, and selects the cultural product trade data of 35 countries along the "Belt and Road" between 2008 and 2017 as a sample. The results show that the economic scale of trading partners has a significant positive impact on China's trade in cultural products, while geographical distance has a significant negative impact.Countries with a common language and belonging to the Chinese civilization and Buddhist civilization system have a significant positive impact. The countries of the Orthodox civilization system have a negative impact, while the influence of other civilization systems is more complicated. The free trade agreement has no significant impact on China's trade with the "Belt and Road" cultural products. At the end of the article,we propose policy recommendations for the current problems in the trade of cultural products and look forward to the future trade of cultural products between China and the countries and regions along "the Belt and Road".
