Equating to the role in movie, the role in animation is the main body of performance given life form by animation designer. Therefore,it can be seen that role shaping of animation is an important benchmarking for the quality of the whole animation.Villain is particularly important in the animation as an essential link to forward the plot.Along with the progress of the times and the convenience brought by the era of big information, the aesthetic level and aesthetic consciousness of audiences are constantly improving. In terms of the shaping of villains in animation, the animation industry at home and abroad believes that the shaping of villain shouldn't follow the traditional template mode and the efficient creation mode of facial makeup, but define villain as an indispensable part to promote the plot.In modern times, the research on the shaping of villains is still in the initial stage for most of the domestic animation, which is the stage of “shaping”.The introduction about the story setting of villain and the element that the character changes with the story moves forwarding is vague or missing.By analyzing the successful cases of the main Japanese and domestic animation in the market, this paper made a comparative study, summarized the shaping methods of the "change" process of villains in each stage and combined with various expression methods in the design of villain to provide a new direction. As a bonus point in the whole animation, the villain in animation must possess its unique personality, meaning so called particularity, which makes whether protagonist villain or the supporting villain have their own story lines and behaviors and makes villain vivid.Besides, the audience has a deeper sense of substitution and the animation seems more interesting. The audience will not only distinguish the character attributes from the "appearance",but will change with the change of the heart of the villain in the play. The audience can have a deep sense of substitution and better viewing experience, and better experience the ups and downs of the plot in the animation.
