A Study Of Dialect Words In Tongsubian

Dialect words have a long history,and they are not only related to each other but also different from each other.they meet our daily communication needs and enrich the forms of language expression,and otherwise have a strong local color,bearing a variety of local culture.Tongsubian,written by Zhaihao,contains a large number of colloquial expressions,which is one of the formost colloquial dictionaries in the Qing Dynasty.There are many dialect words in this book.In this paper,the dialect words in Tongsubian are selected as the research object,and the criteria of obtaining words mainly refer to the Chinese dialect dictionary,the Great Dictionary of Modern Chinese Dialects and other related discussions of judging the dialect words.From the synchronic level,this paper describes and analyzes the quantity,part of speech and regional distribution of dialect words in every volume of Tongsubian;From diachronic aspect,this paper investigates the historical origin of dialect words in Tongsubian.In addition,because of the competition and balance between dialect and Common language,the paper explains the transformation and synonym competition between dialect and Common language.Finally,the author uses the theory of philology and exegetics to analyze the cognate words and the heteromorphous words in the dialect words,in order to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of dialect words in Tongsubian.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the author and the principle of the dialect words in Tongsubian,summarizes the research status of it,and explains the significance and methods of the research.The second chapter is the general situation of dialect words in Tongsubian,which is summarized from the content,quantity,part of speech and regional distribution.according to the statistics of dialect words collected in different regions in Tongsubian,it is found that the dialect words in Wu dialect area are the most.so we decide to discuss part of them.The third chapter studies the historical origin of dialect words.This chapter discusses the division of the historical time period in which Chinese words appear in Tongsubian.According to Wang Li's viewpoint,ancient Chinese is divided into Archaic Chinese,Middle Chinese and Modern Chinese,and then subdivided into Wang Li and Fang Yixin's viewpoints.The fourth chapter points out the relationship between common language words and dialect words,mainly discussing the mutual transformation of common language words and dialect words,this paper describes the use of a group of common words and dialect words which express the same meaning and analyzes the reasons why they can be transformed into each other.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the dialect words in Tongsubian.this chapter pays attention to some writing phenomena in the explanation of dialect words,such as cognate words and heteromorphous words.
