A Study On Tang Tang’s Fairy Tales

Since the 1990 s,Chinese fairy tale creation has experienced development dilemmas such as high commercialization,originality decline and lack of traditional culture.Tang Tang,a contemporary fairy tale writer,has created a series of original fairy tales with fantastic imagination,profound realistic significance and Chinese traditional local characteristics with her "child-oriented" creation perspective,national artistic pursuit,as well as her writing and reflection on the realistic society,Tang Tang is loved by many children readers and has also received significant attention and recognition of her peers.From the contemporary creation idea of fairy tales,fairy tale artistic tradition、 innovation,and the fairy tale of contemporary social reality problem thinking and humanistic care,etc.,this paper discusses the overall features of Tang Tang’s fairy tale in order to fully understand the fairy tale art more deeply,and provides a useful experience for breaking through the difficulties in the creation of fairy tales,and promoting China’s native fairy tales to the world.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper mainly discusses from three parts as:The first chapter mainly discusses Tang Tang’s children-oriented fairy tale creation concept and its main performance.The“children-oriented” perspective in Tang Tang’s fairy tale creation is mainly reflected in: respect for children;realistic image of children;the expression of children’s original desire and inner world.At the same time,she emphasizes the care and guidance of fairy tales on the growth ofchildren,and guides children to correctly cope with growing difficulties with the creation of fairy tales.The second chapter focus on the discussion of the artistic pursuit in Tang Tang’s fairy tale creation.Tang Tang’s fairy tales contain many Chinese traditional elements such as traditional objects,national festivals,and national characters.She combined the narrative mode and story mode of Chinese folk fairy tales in creation,and reinterprets the traditional mythological and legendary characters,subverted the horror aesthetics of traditional ghosts with the spirit of games with the writer’s modern consciousness,at the same time,which reflects the national charm in her fairy tale and the pursuit of the original “Chinese story”.The third chapter explored the observation and reflection of Tang Tang’s fairy tales on contemporary social reality.Tang Tang has always persist in the literary view that “fairy tale is true and real”,in the creation of fairy tales based on fantasy,she maintained deep thinking about social realities.Tang Tang’s fairy tales show a deep concern for contemporary children’s problems,which discussed material supremacy and self-privacy in real society.She also expressed her worries about ecological problems and her longing for returning to the local nature in stories.
