Art As The Way Of Truth Existence

This paper attempts to study the artistic thought of Vattimo and reveal the uniqueness of his artistic thought.When the legitimacy and self-discipline of art are challenged,the status of artists has changed,and art theory lags behind practice.Theorists must explain the situation of art practice and redefine art.Facing the debate on whether art can be defined,Vattimo insists that art can be defined,and firmly moves towards the art ontology road opened up by philosophical hermeneutics.Facing the situation that the traditional definition of art is not applicable,Vattimo criticizes the modern aesthetics,points out the inherent shortcomings and defects of realism and formalism,and subverts the art ontology hidden under the crisis of aesthetic consciousness.In this case,starting from the ontology of art,Vattimo put forward his own understanding and definition of Art: art is the way of truth.This shows that Vattimo separated art from beauty and combined it with truth.In the process of combining art with truth,Vattimo reinterprets the truth and reveals his deeper understanding of art.Vattimo believes that truth is an interpretation of possibility,and denies the objectivity and the basis of truth.From the perspective of interpretative truth,art activity is not an activity of creating and appreciating beauty,but an event existing in experience on the way to truth.In this process,the artist becomes the implanter of truth,the interpreter becomes the opener of truth,and the work of art becomes the intermediary of truth events.According to this,Vattimo realized a further understanding of art,that is,truth is the result of hermeneutics of art ontology,and art is the way of truth.
