With the rapid development of Chinese cities, the evaluation system of the comprehensive strength of cities has a richer connotation.A city with high-level development should consider the spiritual and cultural needs of urban residents while satisfying their material needs. The city historical blokcs condense the history and culture of the city. The renewal and transformation of city historical blocks will help city residents to better inherit city history and culture and enrich their spiritual and cultural activities. At present, the most commonly used means of city historical blocks renewal is tourism development. However,in the process of tourism development in city historical blocks, the following problems exist: Firstly, planners and researchers generally focus their planning on only one type of tourism landscape, and ignore the importance of other types of tourism landscapes of enhancing the tourist experience.Secondly, planners tend to ignore the needs of tourists and local residents for tourism development. The study selected Yongqingfang, which locates on Enning Road,Liwan District, the historical and cultural district of Guangzhou,as a case study. The study focused on the visualscapes, soundscapes, and tastescapes in the case. This study started with the tourist's visualscape perception, soundscape perception, and tastescape perception, and conducted exploratory research on the relationship between tourist's landscape perception and tourist's behavior intention after visit.Firstly, the study explored the influence path of tourist's landscape perception on tourist behavior intention after visit by constructing structural equation model.Secondly, the study used case analysis method and field survey data to summarize the existing problems in the tourist landscape in city historical blocks. Finally, the study combined with the theory of tourism experience specificity and collective memory theory, and put forward a feasibility suggestion for the optimization and improvement of the landscape in city historical blocks. The conclusions of the study show that:(1)Tourist's landscape perception in city historical blocks has the following characteristics: Firstly, visualscape is the main type of tourism landscapes perceived by tourists.Tourist's perception of visualscape has the greatest influence on the perceived value of tourists.Shop is the main tangible carrier of the tourism landscape in city historical blocks. The decoration style of shop and the types of goods sold are the main components of tourist's landscape perception.Secondly, tourists value the uniqueness and culture of the tourism landscapes. The uniqueness and culture of the tourism landscapes are the important components of tourists' perceived value.Thirdly, tourist's demographic characteristics have an important effect on their perception of tourism landscapes.Among the demographic characteristics, the age and source of tourist are the main influencing factors.(2)The effect of tourist's landscape perception on behavior intention after visit in city historical blocks are as follows: Different types of tourist's tourism landscape perceptions indirectly affect tourist's behavior intention after visit with the help of the mediator variable of tourist's perceived value. In the holistic model of structural equations, tourist's landscape perception won't have a direct effect on tourist's behavior intention after visit. After being stimulated by different tourism landscapes, tourists will first form different perceived values.Based on the judgment of the tourism activity “touring the city historical blocks”,whether is “valuable” or not,a specific behavior intention after visit is made. When tourists have a higher perceived value of tourist destinations, they tend to be more active in behavior intention after visit.Based on the results of empirical analysis, this study proposed the following countermeasures for optimizing the tourism landscape of urban historic districts: Firstly, planners should combine the “embodied” characteristics of tourists 'travel experiences to create a variety of sensory tourism landscapes in city historical blocks, and enhance tourism landscapes' sense of experience and participation.Secondly, tourism landscape optimization should reflect the times.Planners should take into account the nostalgia of the city 's historical blocks while incorporating the elements of the era, making it a high-quality tourist destination that can protect tourists with in-depth experience, rejuvenate the old city and promote structural reforms on the tourism supply side;Thirdly, retain urban culture and memory with tourism landscape.Planners should use the combination of different tourism landscape in city historical blocks to tell tourists the stories behind it,make the city 's historical blocks a “speaker” that inherits the city 's historical culture, and make people remember their home.Fourthly, make the city historical blocks a "catalyst" for urban development.Planners should regard the city historical blocks and its surrounding areas as a whole, and carry out overall landscape optimization planning.Planners should promote the integrated development of culture and tourism of the city historical blocks by optimizing the tourism landscape, and advance the city to the stage of high-quality development. The theoretical contributions of this research are as follows: Firstly, the study included tourist's visualscape perception, tourist's soundscape perception and tourist's tastescape perception into the analysis framework of tourist's landscape perception, deepened the understanding of tourist's landscape perception, and fromed a more comprehensive perspective on tourist's landscape perception research.Secondly, the study introduced the stimulusorganism-response theory(S-O-R Theory)and the tourist's embodied experience theory. It studied the problem of tourism landscape optimization in the historical blocks of the city from the perspective of management, and provided a richer theoretical basis for the study of tourist's landscape perception.
