The Application Of Freehand Brushwork In Meticulous Figure Painting

How to pay attention to the theme of meticulous painting on the image level of works is a problem that needs the common consideration of contemporary Chinese painters.This paper attempts to take the "humanistic spirit" of Chinese painting creation as the theoretical position,through the study of "freehand brushwork" in fine brushwork figure painting and the way of expression,trying to reveal the important position of "freehand brushwork" from the creation of fine brushwork figure painting.And through the analysis of some representative theoretical views and specific works,from the perspective of composition form,modeling and artistic language to explore the "freehand brushwork" in meticulous figure painting.There is no doubt that in-depth understanding and exploring its connotation in the creation concept and aesthetic orientation is of far-reachingsignificance to improve the creation level and richness of meticulous figure painting and even the whole Chinese painting.
