Baudrillard looks at the new changes of art in today's society from the perspective of his simulacra theory.Faced with the dilemma of the gradual disappearance of the boundary between art and daily life, many scholars are anxious about this and have put forward their own opinions and made predictions of the "end of art".Baudrillard is naturally keenly aware of the changes in contemporary art,but he has his own unique judgment on the "end of art".He asserts that the number of contemporary arts has been exhausted, but this does not mean that art has disappeared, but rather negates the particularity of art.In his view, art has no transcendental value that is different from other things, and people need not give too much credit to art.Art should have a completely new state of existence, that is,existence as commodity and existence as commonplace. From the perspective of simulacra,Baudrillard saw that we are now in a super-real world dominated by simulacra.Art has become the product of symbolic program operation. This change inevitably leads to the loss of traditional artistic features, the gradual decline of the status of artists as the main body of artistic creation, and the gradual dissipation of the original transcendental value of art. However,Baudrillard does not think that such art has no meaning. On the contrary,in this new era of pseudo-reality,art can also radiate new values. With the disappearance of traditional artistic features, traditional aesthetic illusion and aesthetic self-discipline no longer exist, but at the same time Baudrillard saw that the new art would bring people a kind of modern radical illusion, which is also a brand-new experience. The thesis is divided into three chapters, and analyzes Baudrillard's views on the end of contemporary art from the perspective of his simulacra theory. The first chapter introduces the changes and crises that art is facing in today's society, namely, the boundary between art and life is gradually disappearing. On this basis,a brief review of the discussion of "artistic termination" by theorists in histo will provide a reference for understanding Baudrillard's artistic termination thought. The second chapter mainly discusses the end of art in Baudrillard's eyes.Baudrillard's theory of simulacra is a sharp weapon in his analysis of society. This chapter takes Baudrillard's theory of simulacra as the breakthrough point to analyze the corresponding relationship between Baudrillard's theory of simulacra and the development process of art.On this basis,we can grasp how Baudrillard interprets the contemporary changes of art from the perspective of simulacra and what new features of art will appear in the era of simulacra. The third chapter analyzes how Baudrillard views the aesthetic problems of the end of art.Through the analysis of the second chapter,we know that Baudrillard's view of the end of art does not mean the disappearance of art,but changes into a new form. Therefore, the third chapter discusses what changes have taken place in the existing state of aesthetics in today's world and what new changes have taken place in people's aesthetics with the transformation of art.Baudrillard's judgment on the end of art is extreme, but it is not so pessimistic.Baudrillard brings people a brand-new view of art, provides an inclusive perspective for the emergence of new art in the pseudo-real era,and also provides new ideas for people to understand the changes in contemporary aesthetics.
