As a vanguard writer who constantly strives for novelty and change in narrative discourse,Pan Jun has been neglected in literary history and critical circles.With the help of the research framework and methods of classical narratology and the theories of psychoanalysis,new historicism,reader acceptance and cultural criticism,this paper systematically and meticulously examines the achievements and innovations of Pan Jun's novels at the level of narrative discourse in comparison with other writers' works.This paper mainly discusses from three perspectives: narrative voice,narrative perspective and narrative time.In terms of narrative voice,Pan Jun has a unique way in setting up narrator and narrative level.Pan Jun shifts uncertainty to the narrator.Some of the narrators in his novels create their own enigmatic identity by conveying "confusing" narrative information,thus arousing readers' close attention.Pan Jun uses complex narrative stratification to create "dialogue" effect among different levels.At the same time,he made the formation of the sub-narrative layer of the novel no longer the result of the role of a single main narrative layer,but the product of a common "discussion" among multiple levels.Pan Jun was not satisfied with the fixed type of narrator in a single novel,and his changing narrator intervention attitude resulted in the obvious and indefinite effect of the narrator in the text,which was also the result.For a narrative feature,it runs through many works of Pan Jun.In terms of narrative perspective,Pan Jun's early creation of several focusing methods have shown his advance in the concept of perspective.In Pan Jun's later novels,such as "March 1" and "Chongpupil",Pan Jun integrated his imagination into the perspective processing,and created such ingenious focusing methods as "the perspective of dreams" and "the perspective of the dead".These rare and novel narrative perspectives expand the aesthetic space of the works and enhance the expressive ability of contemporary literature.In terms of narrative time,this paper mainly examines the time manipulation in Pan Jun's novels from three aspects: time sequence,frequency and time interval.At the time-sequence level,Pan Jun is used to creating the fatalistic color of his works through the reversal of time and the cycle of events in the chronological chain,showing his fear and helplessness in the development of history.at the time-distance level,Pan Jun often creates ambiguous and uncertain pluralistic meanings by omitting narration.He is good at creating vacancies in the subtleties of his diction,and likes to use simple dialogue to arouse the imagination of "pictures beyond words" in the readers' hearts,thus making his works have unpredictable aesthetic charm.at the frequency level,the ingenious use of repeated narratives enables Pan Jun to dispel the historical certainty and the tragedy of the story,while the writer himself.The state of mind and the sense of existence of the body are also presented in the repeated narration.Pan Jun's novel novel is novel,unique,ingenious and changeable narrative discourse not only expands the aesthetic space of the novel itself,but also enriches the expression of contemporary novel.
