Human behavior fluctuates. In the field of attention and perception, previous studies have found that the behavior of individuals presents rhythmic fluctuations(behavioral oscillations),whose dynamic characteristics are very similar to the spectrum characteristics of neural oscillations, and reflect the individual psychological processing process. However, the existing behavioral oscillation studies only investigate the behavioral rhythm of individual attention and perception. This study will further explore on the basis of previous studies:(1)in the more complex cooperation, whether there is interpersonal synchronization of behavior rhythm between people.(2)If there is rhythm synchronization, whether it will be affected by gender and cooperation relationship. In order to solve the above two problems, this study combines the previous time-resolved analytical methods used to detect attention and perceptual behavior oscillations with the classical experimental paradigm of interpersonal cooperation(joint-action task)to explore the dynamic process of cooperative behavior.Previous studies based on brain imaging technology showed that the brain nerve activities of multiple subjects involved in cooperative tasks were synchronized in theta band, and the brain synchronization was affected by gender and cooperative relationship. In view of this, this study expects that interpersonal behavior synchronization in cooperation will also be reflected in theta band, and behavior synchronization will be affected by gender and cooperative relationship. In order to explore the influence of gender on cooperative behavior, the first study is divided into two parts.Experiment 1(a)recruited 20 male pairs to complete the jointaction task. The results show that there is no significant fluctuation in the individual level under the cooperation and competition tasks. However, compared with competitive conditions, interpersonal behaviors show significantly increased theta band synchronization under cooperative conditions. And there is a significant correlation between the behavior synchronization of theta band and the cooperative relationship(leader-follower relationship). The more explicit the leader's role is,the higher the score of interpersonal behavior synchronization and cooperation is.Experiment 1(b)recruited 20 female pairs to complete the same joint-action task, but no significant interpersonal behavior synchronization was found.Further comparison found that the cooperation score of female group was significantly lower than that of male group, indicating that gender affected the performance of cooperation behavior.Based on the results of study 1 and the previous hyperscanning research based on brain imaging technology, interpersonal synchronization will be affected by the cooperation. Therefore,we hypothesized that if the female group formed a very clear relationship between leader and follower,it would correspondingly improve interpersonal behavior synchronization and cooperation performance. In order to test this hypothesis, the second study used the leadership self-assessment questionnaire to divide the subjects into leaders and followers, and matched them into 19 leader-follower pairs and 19 follower-follower pairs. Then,we compared the interpersonal behavior synchronization of the two types of pairing in the cooperative joint-action task. The results show that there is no significant difference between leader-follower and follower-follower in interpersonal behavior synchronization and cooperation scores. To sum up,the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)the synchronization of interpersonal behavior in cooperation is affected by gender. The male group showed significant improvement of behavior synchronization in theta band, and there was significant correlation between cooperative relationship and interpersonal behavior synchronization. However, the female group did not show significant interpersonal behavior synchronization.(2)The leader-follower relationship constructed by the leadership self-assessment questionnaire did not achieve the effect of improving interpersonal behavior synchronization and cooperation performance...
