Research On Affixation Of Russian Network Terms

With the development of technicalization and globalization and the emergence of new forms of communication,international relations are increasingly connected,therefore,the international term,a unified language code to communicate is desperatedly needed.English professional terms,which originate in English-speaking countries and represent advanced computer technology and network information,have been introduced into Russian to meet the needs of Russian communicators for related social activities.The rapid development and wide application of Internet technology have expanded the use of network terminology from the field of computer to all fields of social life,making these vocabularies gain wide currency.However,these de-term words,which represent something new or novel concepts in contemporary society,are employed in an active and frequent way,after continual evolution,they eventually become word-formation markers.Based on the Russian internet terms ??????????????????????????????(-)and its evolution of word-formation process as the research object,terminology,morphology,social linguistics discipline theory as the foundation of research,this dissertation studies the process of affixation of Russian internet terms and analyzes the linguistic phenomenon such as terminology removing,affixation and semantic generalization.First of all,this paper elaborates the concepts of terminology,de-nomenclature and affixation,describes the characteristics of internet terms from the perspectives of pronunciation,writing,grammar,word formation and semantics,and describes the process of de-nomenclature of Russian internet terms from professional terms to popular words during which it is accompanied by the proliferation of semantic components.Secondly,this paper explores the dynamic evolution process of Russian internet terms of how they affix into word formation signs,especially the quantitative analysis of the phenomena such as the continuous affixation in form and semantic generalization after its de-terminologization.Finally,the factors that influence the affixation of Russian internet terms are analyzed from both internal and external aspects.The research on the affixation of Russian internet terms is not just helpful to understand the process of how Russian internet terms evolve from professional terms to popular vocabularies and then to signs of word formation,but conductive to understanding the characteristics of the internationalization of network compound word formation.It also helps to pay attention to the influence of social changes on language so as to have better understanding about the mutual relationship between language and society.
