Ai Wu is a Sichuan writer in the history of modern literature. He never stops writing all his life, leaving nearly ten million words of literary works for later generations.Among these works, the works created through his "southbound" experience are undoubtedly the most distinctive. This paper is mainly based on the first “southbound” experience of Ai Wu,and re examines Ai Wu's novels, essays, travel notes and other works with the theme of "southbound" for the first time trip from the perspective of literary geography. This paper mainly uses the theory of "three-origin" in the Principles of Literary Geography officially published by Mei Xinlin and Ge Yonghai in 2017 to study and interpret, trying to dig out more rich literary content different from the previous research on Ai Wu's journey to the south from a new perspective and new theory.Combined with the characteristics of Ai Wu's "southbound" articles, the paper is mainly divided into the five parts to discuss:The first chapter mainly focuses on the "southbound" spatial scope and the "original map restoration".Starting from "outer space",this paper defines the spatial scope of "southbound" from a macro perspective, draws a more complete the first time "southbound" map of Ai Wu by reading the relevant literatures and combining with local chronicles, biographies and other materials, and further divides the "southbound" map into the geographical space of origin-Sichuan map,and geographical space of activities-Yunnan map,Myanmar map and ocean map. This chapter focuses on the geographical influence of Xinfan and Chengdu in native place geographical space on Ai Wu.The second chapter mainly focuses on Yunnan map and mountain space.Firstly, from the perspective of "original map restoration ",this paper discusses the three influences of active geospatial-Kunming on the "southbound" combined with the local chronicles of Yunnan from the "external space".Secondly, from the perspective of "original scene restoration",connecting the geographical features of mountainous areas in Yunnan province with the text, the state of space in the works is restored through the precipitous and trembling natural environment and the necessary Inn on the "southbound" road. Finally, from the perspective of "spiritual original exploration",the mountain spirit of the survival of the fittest in the mountain space is excavated through the way of "killing and sacrificing grain" survival and "stealing and robbing thieves" survival. The third chapter focuses on the Myanmar map and plain space. In the map of Myanmar,Ai Wu has lived in Maocaodi and Yangon for a long time. This paper mainly analyzes the spiritual hometown of Maocaodi for Ai Wu,and the communist belief of Yangon for Ai Wu,thus forming a two-center Myanmar map.At the same time, the paper shows that industrial modernity and agricultural backwardness,as well as the internal order of race and law in the works, combined with the geomorphic characteristics of the central great plain of Myanmar and the background of the British colonial period.Through the joint observation of the external and internal,a modern, orderly and backward, oppressive plain space was formed.Facing the colonial oppression in the plain space, the text space shows the plain spirit of revolutionary struggle through the actions of different characters or literary resistance. The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the Ocean map and sea space. This part is often ignored in the past research.Ai Wu has two navigation experiences in the process of wandering, and has created dozens of literary works based on this theme.Through the research on the navigation route to form the Ocean map.The sea, lighthouse, ship, island and other landscapes in the ocean are not only the scenes of literary activities, but also the scenes of literary texts, which together construct an ocean space that still pursues freedom and beauty in shackles and shackles. The fifth chapter focuses on the aesthetic ideal and writing significance of "southbound" works.Based on the previous chapters, this paper holds the internal relations among mountain, plain and ocean space as a whole. It seems that they operate independently in traditional and modern, barbaric and civilized, closed and open, but in fact, the common spirit of resistance is shown by the weak and strong in different spaces in the process of confrontation. Then, through the characteristics of the river, the river image of opening three kinds of spaces forms the ultimate aesthetic ideal beyond it,that is,the cultural river of multi-ethnic fusion and symbiosis symbolized by Dayingjiang River. Finally, return to the core of this paper-the interaction between literature and geography, combined with the previous literature geography research on Ai Wu's "southbound" theme works, discuss the interpretation function of geography to literature and the supplementary significance of literature to geography.
