Pre Qin Confucian moral culture is an important part of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.Its content is broad and profound,its thought is profound,and its system is perfect.Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi,as the representatives of the Pre-Qin Confucianism,put forward their own distinctive moral education thoughts in their respective theories.Therefore,the moral education thoughts of Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi have important research significance and value.This paper refers to a large number of Pre-Qin Confucian moral education research related literature,journals and materials,and comprehensive analysis,collation and research,get useful information and theory for this article.On this basis,this paper makes an in-depth study of the main purposes,contents and methods of the moral education thoughts of Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi,and uses the comparative analysis method to focus on the similarities and differences of the purposes,contents and methods of the moral education thoughts of Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi.At the same time,it evaluates their moral education thoughts,and summarizes the important enlightenment for the moral education of contemporary college students.Confucius advocated the cultivation of the "gentleman" type of talents in governing the country.His moral education thought centered on "benevolence",combined "benevolence" and "propriety",and paid attention to the moral cultivation method of teaching students according to their aptitude and combining learning with thinking.Mencius advocated the cultivation of the "gentleman scholar" who implemented the "benevolent government",emphasized human ethics,benevolence and righteousness,believed that human nature was inherently good,and the specific moral cultivation methods were mind cultivation and rereflection.Xunzi hoped to cultivate "sage" and "gentleman".He advocated that rites should be emphasized on law,and emphasized on the distinction of pseudo nature.The unity of the purpose of moral education among Confucius,Mencius and Xun lies in two aspects: one is that they expect to cultivate the object of moral education to be "inner sage";the other is that they all use moral education to promote the realization of their respective political propositions.In the purpose of moral education,Confucius,Mencius and Xun differ in the level of talents cultivated by moral education.Confucius paid attention to the cultivation of "gentleman" talents,Mencius paid attention to the cultivation of "gentleman" ideal personality,while Xunzi paid attention to the cultivation of "sage" and "gentleman".In terms of the similarities and differences of the main content of moral education,they all take "benevolence,propriety and righteousness" as the main content of moral education,which is their consistent aspect,while the difference is mainly reflected in the difference of the theory of mind.In terms of the methods of moral education,there are two consistent points.One is that both take active learning as an important method to improve moral cultivation;the other is that both take teachers as the subject to impart moral knowledge.There are also two differences,one is on the way to realize moral education,the other is on the specific requirements of the object of education.The evaluation of Confucian moral education thought of Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi in the pre-Qin Period can be divided into two aspects.On the one hand,it has a positive influence,that is,it plays an important role in social development and helps to improve people's moral quality.On the other hand,its limitation is mainly manifested as the goal and the limitation of The Times.The enlightenment to contemporary college students' moral education mainly includes three aspects.The first is to strengthen the cultivation of college students' mentality and moral feelings in the aspect of concept.Secondly,in terms of methods,we should pay attention to the cultivation of college students' ability of combination of learning and thinking,self-reflection and the concept of accumulating good works.Third,in terms of form,we should pay attention to the influence of the surrounding environment on the moral education of college students,and at the same time carry out targeted education on the moral problems of college students.
