The Problem Of Cultural Adaptation And Its Educational Countermeasures After Relocation

Relocation is a fundamental strategy to solve the problem that "one side of soil a nd water can not support one side of people",and it is an important way to achieve the goal of poverty alleviation and prosperity in China.However,the ultimate realizati on of the goal of poverty alleviation and relocation in different places not only needs to solve the problem of "moving out",but also needs to solve the problem of cultur al adaptation after migration.The concept of culture varies and is complex.There are generally three ways to define culture: macro,meso and micro.In this paper,the me so way of defining culture is adopted,that is,culture is the way of life relative to th e mode of production.After the relocation,the living environment and mode of produ ction of the immigrants have changed,and the way of life is bound to change.Howe ver,there is a problem of adaptation when the original way of life(i.e.Culture)beco mes the current way of life.As one of the objects of implementing the relocation poli cy,the villagers of Shuicun village in Sandu County,Guizhou Province have great pro blems in adapting to the new life style.Sandu water village,as a cultural settlement area of Shui Village,not only retains the characteristics of farming culture,but also maintains a strong traditio nal culture of Shui.Around 2017,some villagers in Shuicun moved to the resettlement site of Shuiyuan in Shuizhen.Compared with Shuicun,Shuizhen has a m ore modern color.The immigrants who live in the water village for a long time,as "different culture" people,move to the water town to rebuild their homes.When they f ace the new life style,they will have a big problem of adaptation.It is found that af ter moving to Shuizhen,there are different degrees of cultural adaptation problems in material culture,institutional culture and spiritual culture.Through the management of the water village,we can see the leopard of cultural adaptation caused by the relocation,the change of production mode and cultural environment caused by the relocation,the lack of corresponding education guidance,the short period of cultural adaptation of immigrants and the lack of modern literacy of immigrants.It can be said that altho ugh the living environment of immigrants has been greatly improved,and the improve ment of these conditions also creates conditions for the improvement of the quality of life of immigrants.However,just because of the above problems of cultural adaptatio n,the relocation policy is not conducive to the realization of the goal of poverty alle viation and even the stability of the social environment.In addition,for immigrants th emselves,the cultural adaptation problems caused by immigrants are not conducive to the further improvement of their quality of life,not to mention their great sense of be longing to the destination.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the problem of cultural ada ptation of water village immigrants.In fact,the process of cultural adaptation of immigrants is a constantly changing and complex process.In this process,on the one hand,the cultural adaptation of imm igrants will be restricted by external factors such as society,on the other hand,it will also be affected by factors such as immigrants themselves.From the perspective of e xternal factors,including industrial development status,infrastructure construction status,policy support system,relocation time length,cultural distance and education,etc.;fr om the perspective of internal factors,including immigration education level,age distri bution characteristics,immigration communication ability,immigration gender,immigrati on subjectivity awareness,etc.These internal and external factors constitute a complete system and affect the cultural adaptation of immigrants.Different from other influenci ng factors,education can achieve "hematopoietic activation" as an activity of cultivatin g people.Specifically,education helps immigrants to acquire the culture of the place of immigration;education can promote the immigrants to integrate into the culture of the place of immigration as soon as possible by improving individual subjectivity awar eness;education helps to enrich the leisure time of immigrants,so that immigrants ca n integrate into the local leisure and entertainment life;education helps to alleviate th e psychological anxiety of immigrants and guide them to actively adapt to the new li ving environment.Therefore,education can play an important role in the cultural adap tation of immigrants.In terms of specific countermeasures,in view of the cultural ada ptation problems caused by the relocation of water village immigrants,the local releva nt departments can make the following education decisions: first,improve the relevant skills training and employment guidance;second,hold publicity and education activities on daily life knowledge;third,hold education activities for the culture of the reloc ation place;Fourth,carry out leisure education to enrich the life of immigrants;fifth,carry out special mental health education activities.Of course,the function of educatio n needs to be restricted by social and other objective conditions,and the function of education has a certain lag,so it is impossible to achieve immediate results.The problem of immigrants' cultural adaptation is a big problem that must be fac ed after their relocation.This problem is caused by many factors,which affects the se nse of belonging and the improvement of the quality of life of immigrants.This requi res researchers in related fields to conduct in-depth and detailed analysis of this probl em,so as to explore some targeted solutions.
