Bronze inscriptions of Chu culture system(Chu bronze inscriptions)refer to the characters carved on the bronzes cast by the kingdoms of the Chu state or some vassals that were deeply influenced by the Chu culture.According to the existing unearthed materials,the start and end of the period lasted from the late Western Zhou Dynasty to the time of the destruction of the Chu from the Qin Dynasty,and lasted for six or seven hundred years.Since the 1920 s,especially since the 1970 s,a large number of underground Chu cultural relics have been excavated and appeared,so that we are fortunate to see the extremely rich Bronze inscriptions art of Chu culture system.As far as the current research situation is concerned,the research on the Bronze inscriptions of Chu culture system is mainly focused on the research and interpretation of the inscriptions on the Chu system and the analysis of the utensils.In contrast,the research on the artistic characteristics of the calligraphy system in the Chu bronze inscriptions is still relatively fragmented,and the systematic research on finishing needs to be strengthened.Especially in recent years,the rise of the discipline of calligraphy art and the appearance of many new archeological materials.At the same time,with the rapid development of bamboosilk calligraphy and the emergence of a large number of results,the comprehensive study of the calligraphy art in the Chu bronze inscriptions has obtained good research conditions.Therefore,using the latest materials and research results,a systematic and in-depth study of the calligraphy art in the Chu bronze inscriptions,the scientific construction of the contemporary calligraphy history system,and the scientific construction of the contemporary calligraphy history system and the study of Chinese ancient artifacts and Chinese paleography can play a positive role.At the same time,it has important academic value to promote the study of the history of Chu culture and the history of Chinese ancient civilization.In this article,the Chu bronze inscriptions are used as the research object,and the latest available materials and research results are fully used,and a systematic and comprehensive study of the characteristics of calligraphy art is emphasized.First of all,through the study of the origin of Chu national culture and the study of social customs,the purpose is to grasp the basic characteristics of Chu culture and the social customs of Chu people,and then to make an in-depth exploration of the artistic spirit of Chu people and analyze Chu people 's Psychology and national character of artistic creation,and dig deep into the various factors that affect their artistic creation,so as to be able to objectively and accurately grasp the artistic characteristics of the Chu bronze inscriptions.Secondly,by studying the evolution of the Chu bronze inscriptions' glyph,structural characteristic,cultural connotations,and other related aspects of the Chu bronze inscriptions,in-depth understanding of the development and evolution of Chu characters and glyph structural features,such as the increase anddecrease of strokes,structural variations,and radical movements Bits,text changes,etc.Because of Chu people's distinctive features of the times and unique aesthetic taste,the inscription of the Chu script did not blindly follow the footsteps of the Zhou dynasty,but they were transformed according to their own cultural aesthetic pursuits and possessed their own cultural connotations.Therefore,it is necessary to discuss the cultural connotation of Chu system characters.Thirdly,according to the aesthetic taste and artistic pursuit of the Chu people,the artistic style of the Chu bronze inscriptions is classified and researched in stages,and the artistic features of the inscriptions on the Chu system are deepened from the horizontal and vertical aspects.Finally,due to the special artistic aesthetic orientation of bird-and-insect script,and it has an important cultural position in the Chu bronze inscriptions.For this reason,this article lists a separate chapter to discuss its development,evolution and aesthetic characteristics.This article is divided into five chapters to study and discuss the above points.Among them,the first and second chapters mainly discuss the cultural and artistic spirit of the Chu people,and the character evolution and body structure characteristics of the Chu bronze inscriptions.The third and fourth chapters mainly discuss the artistic style characteristics of the Chu bronze inscriptions.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the character evolution and aesthetic law of bird-and-insect script.In the process of research,the author mainly adopts the analysis method of ancient Chinese characters to analyze the glyph and structure of the Chu script,and analyzes the glyph of Chu bronze inscriptions from the aspects of increase and decrease,replace and changes.For the classification and study of artistic style characteristics,the author comprehensively investigated the classification items of Yang Jingzeng's "The Twenty-four Calligraphy Levels",Lu Pai's "The Twenty-four Calligraphy Levels",Jin Zhixue's "The New Twenty-four Calligraphy Levels" and Hu Changchun's "Research on the calligraphy characteristics of bronze inscriptions",and then listed the characteristics of Chu bronze inscriptions style into five categories based on the aesthetic reality of Chu bronze inscriptions,and made the corresponding analysis and list of works.Because poetry and painting have close relationship with calligraphy,the author also makes some reference to the traditional evaluation terms of "The Twenty-four Poetic Styles" by Sikong Tu of the Tang Dynasty and the "The Twenty-four Paintings Levels" by Huang Qing of the Qing Dynasty.A phased study of the artistic style of Chu bronze inscriptions,the author refers to the method of dating and staging of bronze ware in the " Study on Bronze Wares of Chu Dynasty " by Liu binhui and the research results of inscription stages of Chu dynasty in the "A Comprehensive Study of Chu Dynasty Inscriptions" by Zou fudu.
