The Relationship Between Architectural Concreteness And Individual Preference And The Influence Of Weapon And Container Architectural Imagery On Basic Emotions And Respectively Achievement Motivation And Adult Attachment

Architectural imagery refers to the psychological symbol whose imagery is architecture and has a certain symbolic meaning.After the building in the living environment is seen by the human eye,the visual psychological experience is symbolized as a building imagery through information processing.In order to further explore the impact of architectural imagery on individual emotions,this study starts from a symbolic perspective and specifically understands the individual's experience of architectural imagery through a two-part study.In the first study,15 subjects rated the similarity of 300 forms of bionic buildings and their imitations,and selected 20 high-,medium-,and low-degree similar architectural pictures as research materials.Through 58 subjects' rating on the likeness of the buildings in these 60 pictures,the relationship between the similarity between the formal bionic building and the imitated things and the individual's love for the building were explored,and the architectural imagery with different similarities were found to be individual The emotional content such as emotions have varying degrees of influence.And through the collation and analysis of a large number of documents related to symbol,found that the symbolic meaning of weapons and containers is rich in meaning and broad in scope,and contains the profound and profound symbolic meanings of yin and yang,heaven and earth,heaven and earth,and men and women.Closely connected,it can be theoretically speculated that the imagery of weapons will also have the characteristics and psychological implications of "yang","sky","hard","hard" and "male";the imagery of containers will also correspond It has the characteristics and psychological connotations of "yin","land","kun","soft" and "female".Study 2 adopted 15 subjects to compulsorily classify 450 buildings with a wide range of appearances in three categories of "weapon","container" and "other categories",and screened them out as "weapon" and "container".The 30 most frequent architectural pictures and the 60 most frequently classified architectural pictures were used as research materials.Forty-three subjects in the experimental group were tested before and after the achievement motivation questionnaire and the adult attachment questionnaire.The interventions corresponding to the two questionnaires were the scores of six basic emotions after viewing each of the weapon building pictures and the container building pictures;Forty-three subjects in the group watched other architectural pictures in the middle of the achievement motivation questionnaire and the adult attachment questionnaire before and after the test,and scored emotions after viewing.Through statistical analysis and comparison,the effects of weapon building imagery and container building imagery on six basic emotions,achievement motivations and adult attachments of individuals are explored.The study mainly reached the following conclusions:(1)Buildings with different concreteness have different levels of individual preference.(2)Compared with the low-level and high-specification,the individual's preference for the medium-level concrete building is significantly higher;compared to the high-level concrete,theindividual's preference for the low-level concrete building is significantly higher.(3)Compared with the control group,the difference between the pre-test and the post-test is not significant.The post-test of the achievement motivation and the pursuit of success of the weapon architectural imagery subjects in the experimental group is significantly higher than the pre-test,and the post-test of avoiding failure is significantly lower than the pre-test;In the experimental group,the post-test of the attachment closeness dimension and the attachment-dependent dimension of the adult imagery of container-like architectural imagery in the experimental group was significantly higher than the pre-test,and the post-test of the attachment anxiety sub-dimension was significantly lower than the pre-test.(4)In the experimental group,the scores of aversion,fear,sadness,and anger of the weapon building imagery subjects were significantly higher than that of the control group,and the scores of interest and happiness were significantly lower than the control group;the disgust,fear,sadness,and the anger emotion score was significantly lower than the control group,and the interest and happiness emotion scores were significantly higher than the control group.
