Research On Metric Of Script In Song-Yuan Dynasties

The “ Song and Yuan story-telling script ” is the customary appellation of academia for the early “story-telling script novels”.Exploring its roots is mostly because the history of Chinese classical novels takes the Song and Yuan Dynasties as an inseparable research stage.The existing Song and Yuan story-telling scripts are mainly novels and historical stories.To explore the narrative ways and language expressions of the Song and Yuan story-telling script,its main feature is the combination of verse and prose.The text for the plot narrative part is mainly prose,while the text for the narrative supplement and concatenation is mostly verse.The verses that run through the narrative plot can be roughly divided into rhyming poetry,Ci,Fu,sentence,etc.according to the stylistic division.In the stage of the Wizard Culture,the original ballads and proverbs,and the hexagrams of the Book of Changes have already sprouted with rhyme reasoning.Later,after the development of the philosophers' times and other periods until the Six Dynasties period,the form of the philosophers' verses gradually disappeared with the appearance of the debate on style of writing.Then in the Tang and Song Dynasties,this form showed the momentum of revival.The large amount of poems and verses in the Song and Yuan story-telling scripts is a common phenomenon in ancient Chinese novels and has a very early origin.The formation of verses in the Song and Yuan story-telling script was influenced by citizen culture at the beginning.The story-telling script changes the narrative technique and inserts poems and other verses into the surprise twists in the storyline.It also breaks the fixed pattern of thinking of the life and arts truth that the ancients were used to in the narrative,and reflects the progress of the commerce and the evolution of culture in the Song and Yuan Dynasties.The Song and Yuan story-telling script advocates "the things fake,but the reason true" and emphasizes the uniqueness of the changes in the writing style.The Song and Yuan story-telling script gradually transitioned from "recording historical events with literal method" to "making historical events by literal method",so it takes the lead in the narrative and fictional skills at that time.In addition to its unique cultural connotation,the emergence of the verse in the Song and Yuan Dynasties plays an important role in the narrative aesthetic value,especially in the narrative function after it is connected with the plot of the text.This thesis will explore its deeper aesthetic connotation from the following four parts:In the first part is a brief account of the situation of the rhyme in the prose before Song Dynasty.From pre-qin to Song Dynasty,the general appearance of the rhyme in narrative prose is carefully sorted out,and the origin and influence factors of the rhyme in vernacular prose are explored.The second part,through the investigation and Statistics of the specific items and the existing situation of the rhyme in the song and Yuan Huaben,the rhyme in the song and Yuan Huaben Huaben is divided into huaben poetry,Huaben CI,Huaben Fu and Huaben couplet according to the stylistic features,the specific characteristics of each category are also discussed.From the reasons of various styles,the author's situation and the use of the situation of the study and thinking,clearly the various forms of the song and Yuan Dynasty Rhyme.The third part is about the features of the use of rhyme in the song and Yuan Dynasty script,which is divided into three parts: the combination of elegance and vulgarity,geographical and folk-custom,and the combination of rhyme and prose.The fourth part is about the function and influence of rhyme in song and Yuan Dynasty script,this paper explores the functional meaning of the verse in Song-yuan Huaben from its content,structure and theme,distinguishes it from the literati poetry of the same period,and explores its profound influence on the later narrative novel.This thesis explores the narrative function and aesthetic function by clarifying the cause,influence,function and statistical analysis of the use of verse,and explores the difference of the narrative method of verse in terms of thought connotation,artistic techniques and other aspects.The Song and Yuan Story-telling Scrip is an important part of the literature of the song and Yuan Dynasties,and the rhyme in it is a unique form of expression in the Chinese narrative literature,showing the social features and the lively interest of the street life in the song and yuan dynasties,it has formed the cultural connotation of the common appreciation of refined and popular culture,which shows its unique value in the history of literature and is worth exploring continuously.
