A Study On The Fusion Of Documentary And Dramatic Features In Chinese Character Documentaries Since The New Century

In the process of the creation of character documentaries,there are documentary criteria that require authenticity as the cornerstone,and also dramatic appeals that require the pursuit of "interesting".These two seem to be contradictory in a way of wane and wax,rather,the gesture of mutual achievement is fused in the character documentary.The special presentation of its fusion features and rules is the research object of this paper.Guided by relevant theories,through combing,comparison and induction,each chapter of this paper firstly obtains documentary and dramatic features with the reference of character documentary,and summarizes six main features.Then,based on the typical theory of artistic language,combining with a large number of documentary cases of characters,the thesis closely relates to the central point of fusion,and obtains the relationship between the fusion setting of the director and the audience from the discrimination of fusion features and misunderstandings.Then,on the basis of essence of documentary and the necessity of creation,as well as the future development,summed up the integration of three rules.Finally,combining with the author's graduation work "Floating” In Chongqing,this paper analyzes the three steps of early-stage investigation & fusion,mid-term grasp of fusion and post-editing fusion,and links the research results with the creation practice,so as to implement and further deepen the theory.The author believes that the artistic charm of character documentary lies in the full absorption and application of drama on the basis of documentary.The creators should attach importance to the fusion requirements,respect the truth,and create excellent character documentaries with rational creative thinking and appropriate dramatic attitude.
