Analysis Of Video Languages In Character Documentaries

This paper uses the aesthetic concept and lens language of non-fiction image works to analyze the image language style and characteristics of character documentaries.On the other hand,based on the creative practice of Zhao Di's “Journey to Nanyang”,this paper analyzes in detail the use of lens language and the presentation of style in the documentary.Starting from the particularity of using image language in audio-visual works,the author raises his own questions through the macro analysis of theoretical concepts,that is,how to rationally use image language for creation in character documentaries,and what influence using different image language will have on documentary aesthetic style.Through text analysis and case analysis,the topic is elaborated,from abstract macro theory to image language in microscopic concrete works.The first part is the introduction part,which clarifies the research background,significance,methods and innovations of the topic,and summarizes the related literatures;the second part defines the related concepts involved in the article;the third part passes the image language of the specific works.Use,to analyze the components of the image language and its role in character portrayal and narrative advancement;the fourth part focuses on the use of video language to expand the aesthetics of the documentary;the last part is based on their own practice,analysis and thinking The use of video language in my own work Zhao Di's “Journey to Nanyang”,combined with the use of lens,scene selection,and simultaneous sound in specific works,analyzes the intrinsic elements of the image language in the documentary,and selects specific images.The effect of language on the shaping of characters and the artistic effect produced.By analyzing the use of the image language of the excellent person documentary,he has greatly inspired himself in the practical shooting of the character documentary.In the process of creating graduation works and professional dissertations,the author is also exploring more possibilities for the use of the documentary film,a non-fiction video production language.At the same time,I also reflected on the application of image language in concrete practice.First of all,I believe that the use of video language is based on the reality of documentary.Secondly,the choice of image language is also based on the specific text content of the documentary.It depends only on the image language used in the documentary,and on the choice of text and the language of the image.
