The Joking Writing In The Short Stories At The End Of Qing Dynasty And The Beginning Of The Republic Of China

As a writing technique from ancient times to the present,joking has developed rich connotation in the long-term cultural accumulation.It is based on reality and criticizes and exposes different levels of real life in the form of laughter art.It can be called a medium that connects the subjective and objective feelings of the individual,the sensibility and rationality of the individual's emotions,and the reality and internal conflicts of personality development.As a special form of literary aesthetic expression,the jokes in the short stories at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,with a carnival gesture and a tearful smile,show the social life and human warmth under the characteristics of the times.This article is based on the joking writing in the creation of short stories at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China.Based on the text definition of the joking connotation,through a specific text analysis,combined with the style of the times,it interprets the color and content of both aspects.Especially in combination with the humor classification theory of the German literary theorist Homes,the level of joking is divided to grasp the special tone of joking in the background of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republican period.At the same time,the novels of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,after absorbing the development methods of ancient humorous literature,filled their own development requirements,absorbed new social ideas and values,and thus displayed new content and forms in their works.The article considers from the aspects of social history,communication mechanism and literati character,and explores the external environmental factors and internal psychological factors that affect the playful color of the work.Finally,sort out the significance of humorous writing to the literary history of the historical period from the late Qing to the early Republic of China.
