As one of the four grottoes in China,dunhuang mogao grottoes bears the vicissitudes of political economy,religious belief and artistic aesthetics in all dynasties of China.Influenced by the silk road in the tang dynasty,the dunhuang fresco art reached its peak,and the mogao grottoes fresco art formed a unique form of artistic expression in the process of continuously inheriting the local regional culture and developing the foreign culture.Buddhist statues are one of the artistic contents of the dunhuang mogao grottoes.The shapes,patterns and colors presented by the backlight are not only the treasures of ancient Chinese decorative art,but also the models of modern pattern design.In the research on the backlight of Buddha statues,most of the backlight research is attached to the study of buddhist statues,or appears as a judgment basis in the thematic study of buddhist statues.The literature on the backlight pattern can be said to be very few [1].The author in the tang dynasty Buddha backlight design as the foothold,through on-the-spot investigation method,literature induction,comparison analysis,information method and other methods of the tang dynasty buddhist backlight design analysis,summarize the artistic features of the tang dynasty Buddha backlight design,shape characteristics,basic pattern and color system,combined with modern design methods to explore the Buddha backlit artistic innovation design application in household brand,after absorbing,evolution,design,for the brand in the present society based on the traditional culture relying on daily practice examples,make traditional culture live condition,make the dunhuang culture art into the life of the people.
