Research On Residents' Social-psychological Carrying Capacity Of Dongshan Island Bay Park

Government's attention makes coastal tourism gradually become an important part to promote the economic development of coastal areas.In recent years,the rapid development of tourism in Dongshan Island has brought a series of impacts on the residents' life,resulting in great changes in the social-psychological carrying capacity of residents,due to the imperfect industrial transition,excessive development of tourism operators,and tourists ruin the local environment.Taking Dongshan Island Bay Park as an example,this study uses interview method,grounded theory research method and expert scoring method to determine the index system and weight of residents' social-psychological carrying capacity in coastal tourism areas,and further obtains residents' data through questionnaire survey,and then uses LAC theory as a guide to calculate local residents' social-psychological carrying capacity in low and peak seasons.The conclusions of the study are as follows:There are significant differences in the social-psychological carring capacity of residents in low and peak seasons,in which the socialpsychological carring capacity in the peak season is overloaded,and in the low season is acceptable.There are some differences in the age,education level and whether they are engaged in tourism-related occupations.There are significant differences in the social-psychological carrying capacity of residents of different ages.In the peak season,the higher the age of residents,the lower the social-psychological carrying capacity,and the psychological carrying capacity of residents over 41 years old is in an overload state;in the low season,there is no significant difference in the psychological carrying capacity of residents,and all age groups are in an acceptable state.In terms of education level,education level will not affect the social-psychological carrying capacity of residents,but residents are overloaded in peak season and acceptable in the low season.Whether engaged in tourism-related occupations has a significant impact on the social-psychological carrying capacity of residents in the low and peak season,and residents engaged in tourism show a higher carrying capacity.The conclusion shows that the development of tourism affects the social and psychological capacity of residents in different degrees and levels,as well as the willingness and confidence of residents to participate in tourism.Based on the conclusion of the study,this paper puts forward four suggestions: the government should guide the residents to improve their economic income,take measures to manage tourist activities,reasonably plan and expand urban space,and build a smart tourism service platform.
