In the late 1970 s and early 1980 s,the debate on the authenticity of literature and art has become the focus of Chinese literary circles.The authenticity discussion of this period whether from the participants,or the problem category,or the argument forms,were more abundant and deeper than before.It formed a larger scale that considerable theoretical articles and books were spring out.This discussion included not only the general theory of literature and art,but also the specific creation theory and aesthetic theory,making a literary authenticity prosperous.It changed the depressed state of literature and art since the beginning of the Great Cultural Revolution,and made it take on a fresh vitality,which promoted the opening and modernization of Chinese literature.Therefore,the research object of this paper not only includes the debate on literary authenticity as a literary event in a specific historical period.,but also includes the sorting and analysis of the content of the debate,so as to present the new meaning,values and thoughts generated by the debate on authenticity in the specific historical period at the beginning of the new period.The paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion,the text contains four chapters.On the basis of summarizing the historical changes of the concept of "authenticity" in Chinese and western literature history,the introduction focuses on sorting out the theoretical articles on the issue of authenticity in literature and art in China from 1978 to 1985,and summarizes and classifies the main theoretical focus issues.The first chapter of the text mainly regards the dispute over literary authenticity in the early period of the new period as a literary event,and focuses on the specific historical context in which the dispute took place.On this basis,it divides the development stage of the dispute by reading and sorting out the texts involved in the dispute.The second chapter starts with the focus of the debate on literary and artistic authenticity in the early period of the new era,from the aspects of "writing truth" or "writing nature",from the reality of life to the reality of art,authenticity and inclination,and makes a comprehensive analysis of the content of thedebate,and concludes that the political significance of the debate is greater than that of literature.Third chapter combining disputes happen reason and the main content of the debate,mainly from the argument based on the practice of realism creation,to the Marxism theory of literature and art thoughts as the main position,to debate both sides of the discourse power for the three aspects of substance for the authenticity of the theory discourse in the late seventy s and early eighty s this historical references to an analysis of the transition.The fourth chapter is no longer limited to the early in the new period of this particular historical period,to summarize the literary authenticity debate to the influence the sustainability of China's literary world,it is not only to promote the development of the modernization of Chinese literature and also influenced the later Chinese literature creation practice.
