Expression Of Repetitive Forms In Contemporary Painting

In contemporary painting art,repeated forms appear frequently,and more and more arouse people's attention and thinking.This paper will analyze the repeated forms in painting after abstract expressionism.In the second half of the 20 th century,the most important America's art critic Clement Greenberg,put forward the concept of "polyphonic" painting in his book "art and culture ".Later,China's art critic Gao Ming lu puts forward the concept of " chinese maximism ",which is actually about the problem of repeated forms.Therefore,the author tries to start with the phenomenon of repeated forms in contemporary painting,through the combing of art history and the case of contemporary artists.The main contents are as follows:The first chapter,the traceability of repetition form in contemporary painting,expounds the conceptual source of repetition,and the development and change of repetition form in contemporary painting.Mainly from the contemporary art history to sort out of these forms: image repetition of pop art,material repetition of minimalism,point,line,plane repetition of Op art.This paper expounds that the repeated forms in contemporary painting are closely related to the background of the development of commodity economy and science and technology.At the same time,the repeated forms have creative changes due to the influence of regional culture and the individual differences of artists.The second and third chapters are the key chapters of this paper,which are mainly divided into visual expression and emotional expression.In the second chapter,the visual expression of repetition form in contemporary painting is discussed from three aspects: the repetition form of abstract symbol,the repetition form of concrete symbol and the differentiated repetition form.Starting from the artist's personal experience and works,this chapter selects the dots of Yayoi Kusama,the cross of Ding Yi,the sunflower of Murakami,Fang Li Jun's "bald head" and Yue Min Jun's "smiling face" as classic cases.The third chapter discusses the repeated forms of emotional expression in contemporary painting from two aspects: positive emotional expression and negative emotional expression.From the artist's creative concept,analysis of repetition can produce rhythm,Zen emotional experience,but also can express numbness,fear of emotional experience.The fourth chapter,conclusion and prospect,is the summary of this paper and the creative direction of the digital information age.
