Visual communication design has the function of conveying all kinds of information,and provides a series of related services for the audience.Among them,whether the visual performance is strong determines whether it can attract the audience's attention;whether the communication method is interesting and determines whether it can attract the audience's interest;whether the information is clear and determines whether the information transmission is efficient.At present,more and more families attach importance to children's growth education.Among them,museum education is an extension of school education.It is more and more common for children to enter museums to perceive culture and receive education.However,in various domestic museums,children's visual communication design is still in the development stage.As a result,children encounter difficulties in understanding and studying museum culture,and it is difficult to raise interest in understanding museum culture.Based on this background,this research is based on the children's visual communication design needs in museum browsing,specifically the museum culture promotion activities based on children's cognitive psychology,helping children understand and understand museum culture,and at the same time promoting museum culture.As the Sanxingdui Museum is a permanent museum facing the public,under the condition that the existing visual communication design applications cannot be changed,this project is based on the Sanxingdui culture and combines the relevant theoretical knowledge of children's cognitive psychology.Extract the features of the representativecultural relics in the Sanxingdui Museum and transform them into visual elements.At the same time,combined with the multi-channel sensory characteristics in the information processing model,it is extended to the cultural derivative design and cultural promotion activities to carry out design research practices.In order to improve children's awareness of museum culture and design in a way that children are willing to accept,this paper explores from the following points:(1)Conduct field research and literature research,investigate and understand the current problems of the Sanxingdui Museum's research on the subject,and collate and read the relevant literature theory,the status of theoretical research at home and abroad,and the status of design and application.Based on the actual situation of the Sanxingdui Museum,based on the consideration of the design needs of children's groups,the interaction between children's cognitive psychology and visual communication design is analyzed,and the thinking methods and basis of specific design practices are derived.(2)Analyze the information processing model theory,and propose supplementary and extended design thinking based on the multi-channel sensory characteristics;and combine the analysis of children's cognitive psychological characteristics to determine thematic,fun and playful design thinking.Practice method guidance.This will enrich the content of the design part,make the design practice fit the children's cognitive psychology,and enrich the expression form of the design part,to achieve the purpose of promotion.(3)Finally,combined with the specific design implementation,verify the feasibility of the design thinking and method obtained through analysis.Explain the positive significance of this research to help children recognize museum culture and promote museum culture.
